Rip off
I am a loyal drinker of Captain Morgan and an avid user of their rebate programs through Inmar.
I always have the biggest claim for the largest dollar amount.
However I never receive the full amount. I get a submission card stating my submission did not meet the requirements or I get a rebate check with the smallest amount available even though I qualify for the largest rebate.
This has also happened to my friends as well.
I am sick and tired of being ripped off.
If they do this to my friends and I ,I can only imagine how many others this happens to.
I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General of Texas.
I hope others will follow my dissatisfaction with Inmar and do the same.
I'm thinking Inmar gets a kick back from Diego, or just scamming Diageo!

Inmar and Sterling Vineyards scam
Submitted all appropriate forms, kept copies, when no rebate received I contacted and was asked to resubmit. I re-submitted (CIN-510460) and the email reply was:
"I have sent an inquiry to the client for rebate approval. Once the client has made their decision, you will either receive a notification or the rebate via U.S. Mail.

That was May 16. 2017. Still (9/27/2017) no response.

Inmar frequent rejections solution
Several times I have submitted a rebate managed by Inmar. Each time they send me a postcard telling me I haven't submitted everything required. I called the phone number each time, they pulled up my submission, and MAGICALLY they note that they now have everything needed to pay out my rebate. It then arrives in the mail several weeks later.
This seems to be another step to frustrate people who then throw away the postcard and lose the money they are due. CALL THE NUMBER AND MAKE THEM PAY!

Scammers
I sent the rebate and the materials needed weeks before the postmark due date. They sent a postcard stating the postmark was late, and not only that, it was marked as mailed about 2 weeks before I got the postcard! I mailed it 8 weeks before that date. I emailed a complaint and they gave me a new postmark date! WTH? Either I sent it 2 months late or I sent it 4 days late...make up your mind! The postcard also stated that they still had the original materials. Great. I asked for them to send a copy of the envelope with the postmark date clearly visible. They send an email stating that they are only a third-party and can only follow the other company's guidelines. Either you have the original materials, or you don't. This company is a scam. Maybe they get money for every claim they successfully turn down. Well, I plan on emailing them on a daily basis. I'm getting my $20, either in the mail or by making them pay their employees to waste time answering my emails. I also filed with the BBB and will be contacting the store who used their services!

Inmar rebate ripoff again
Sent in a rebate for wine purchased from Giant Eagle. It was supposed to be $2/bottle of wine. Submitted for 12 bottles but only received a check for $2. Read and re-read the rebate to make sure everything was correct. This is not the first time. DO NOT TRUST THIS SCAM! I would call it a bait and switch at best!

Puzzled by Reason 16
Always careful to dot every "i" and cross every "t" when making submissions to Inmar, I am perplexed that the company has denied my submission #218124164914882 for the Wine Group. Inmar cites reason 16: "All required purchases not circled on reg receipt." Inmar is now giving me a chance to rectify this, but I made the critical error of not scanning the original receipt. So Inmar, which has the only copy of the receipt, wins this time. BTW, this was a $40 rebate.
Another thing: The rebate forms are small, so I recommend using a Pigma Micron 005 so similar pen. Your writing must be unequivocally legible.
I have made submissions to Inmar in the past, and the company has honored them. I have just sent in another rebate form for another rebate, and it will be interesting to see what happens with this one.
The bottom line is this: You must be very precise when making rebate submissions to Inmar, and you must make photocopies or scans of all the documents you send them because part of their business plan is to deny submissions that are not perfect. So be it; these are the rules. Attention rebate submitters!

Make sure to make copies!!!
I submitted a total of 5 rebates to Inmar about 7 weeks ago. . So far I've only received two postcards (one 5 weeks ago and the other today) - both stating that I didn't submit the UPC. Both times I called to advise that I have copies of everything and I did submit the UPC. Today I told the girl that this is the 2nd time that they told me this and I also asked her where the check was from the first time, since that girl told me that I'd receive the check in 30 days and it has been 5 weeks (make sure to keep the confirmation number!). She told me that it was dated 6/30/18 and was "in process". I'm curious to see if I'll get any of rebates - a total of $43.

Proof of Purchase vs Register Receipt
The wine rebate I sent in said submit "Proof of purchase" so that's what I sent in. I get my famous postcard of rejection that states I did not meet qualifications. Upon calling Inmar they inform me that I didn't send in a copy of the register receipt. I told them my rebate said send in "Proof of purchase." I am then informed proof of Purchase means register receipt. Why not say what you mean???
Be careful out there and watch for the hidden meaning!

Second Rip Off, Scammed Again
Second notice and excuse I received for not having a valid submission which is also totally false! Said I had a duplicate submission reason 84. I am suppose to send back card with missing information! No missing information. I sent the submission in plenty of time which was a month or two before dead line. Had two receipts from the stores I purchased from and filled out their card completely!! Two different shopping times and places. Definitely NOT a duplicate. Why run the rebates if you don't honor them? Why do the distilleries allow this to happen? Time to move on to a different place and brand!!!! Too many scams going unpunished and prosecuted!!!

Scammed
I have been trying to submit a rebate for cat litter for two weeks. Always one thing or another not working. Date disappears or offer code not valid or submit doesn't work. They won't email a rebate form that I can mail in either. If any rebate form says Inmar forget it. Why would any company use them if they want your business?

Inmar Scam
Everyone on this thread or anyone filing a rebate submission with Inmar and not receiving the payment needs to contact the Department of Consumer Affairs. Have them do an investigation on this company. It is a scam that they lose receipts, don't pay, then magically find the receipt and then submit a payment or tell you the submission is expired. They have a gravy train going within that organization .....someone is getting those payments. Here is the information to contact Consumer Affairs. Let our government know what is going on with this organization:
