Scam!
I paid $4,000 for an injection. However, my sciatica pain is still there. The procedure did not give any effect. They advertise themselves as one of the best clinics. But they are just a scam! For such a price the injection should have worked. I was counting on it, but now I m still suffering.

Scam
Dr. Nancy Kim, at the Institute of Neurological Recovery is part of a SCAM operation. The "institute" promises nearly immediate recovery from lower back and sciatica pain (as well as Alzheimers and Stroke). I arrived for my appointment, was shown some videos, talked shortly with the doctor and she told me it would be $6500.00 for "treatment". I was in such horrible pain I agreed. I still had to wait, then get an MRI. Nearly six hours of agony in the waiting room and getting the MRI and then I was taken into a treatment room and given three tiny shots of Embril. This drug is designed for rheumatoid arthritis, not for the arthritis and disc problems I have. After an excruciating few minutes on the table I was told to get up. They took a video of me without my permission and I was asked if I felt better. Of course I did because I was off the damn table. I left and the pain was still horrible. I have since seen two orthopedic surgeons who tell me that this is a scam and that I should not pay. I will be reporting her and this "institute" everywhere I can.

waste of money for sciatica relief
I went to The Institute of Neurological Recovery in Newport beach out of desperation. I was in so much pain and i watched their videos on line it look so good so i went. well the visit was like short and expensive, first the say watch a video witch i have already seen online than nurse comes in and says for the consultation its 700.00 dollars WOW! but im in pain so ok, then the dr says whats my pain and has me lift my leg a couple of times and just ever so slightly touches my leg and says yeah your a candidate and its 6800.00 dollars WOW and i might need to do a follow up shot in a month, She also says i might need two shots that day but they can split them up do one now and another next week. I said thats alot and then she comes back well we can do both for 4800.00 WOW again but im in pain so ok. well she had ahard time finding the exact place to inject me and after i laid there for 10 minutes i was told to get up and how do i feel? well i feel the same and never had any significant relief and now im getting an mri and probably going to have surgery. I want to make a video on you-tube to let people of the hell and costs i went thru.
