I read this and had to laugh... in july of 2010 i adopted a "weimaraner" mix puppy from jamies rescue... once it was time to get the puppy fixed i brought her and my other two chihuahuas to get fixed. When i got to jamies house i told her that my dog has seperation anxiety andbis a handful i asked if i could help and just follow her to the "secret" clinic she refused and said she does this all of the time. Well guess what one of my chihuahuas got away from her and ran across opa locka blvd and got killed by a car. And then to top it off ahe tried blaming it on me because the collar wasnt tight eniugh!!! Some nerve of this woman! And now the puppy i adopted from her has had many mediclal problems from day one. And is very territorial to other dogs. She actually attacked and killed my other chihuahua a month ago! I love this dog very much but i do regret ever adopting a dog from this lady! If you are reading this jamie i would atleast like to know if you honestly have any othet true information on this dog that i adopted from you because it would be nice to know if you had the mother and if so what kind of dog was she hoestly and did she have any medical issues??????

She did not smash your car window and steal your purchases, you left hem in plain view. Seriously if you went shopping say at Kmart five minutes away from your house would you hold them responsible for this. I se negligant people taking care of animals and I only hope the "mother" who wrote the original complaint is not this negligant with her children.

Just so you know that the mother of this complaint, she was not allowed to return the dogs because of the rehoming fees. Rather than pay those fees she drowned the dogs in a sack. At least they are in a better place now. I was disgusted by what she did to those dogs and called the police on her. She lied and said that one of the dogs was aggressive in hopes that Jamie would waive the $25 fee. Rather than pay the $25 to get rid of the dogs she choose to drown them to save the fee. She then told her children the dogs ran away.

She got her purse stolen. She was trying to avoid paying the $25 fee which she should have paid. It is called Krama, Big Brother is teaching her petty self a lesson.

Horribly Run
Had appointment to see a dog Tuesday at 5:30...take off work, switch shifts so I could see this amazing dog and hopefully adopt it. Called back on Monday prior to confirm and we were still on. Come Tuesday morning she lets me know that she found someone on Monday that had already adopted the dog. Get a text from the owner that I didn't sounds "interested enough" on phone (aka I had initially said I had to ask my boyfriend to see what times for appointments could work....only to call back and make an appointment) on Sunday. She should have let us know that other people were coming to see the dog. I had already started to buy dog supplies and was so excited - because she initially made it seem as though we were the ones getting it.
Guess I will have to learn how to inflect my monotone voice to sound more interested from now on. Or she shouldn't give people appointments knowing the dog will be adopted by then.

LIAR AND SHADY
I am trying to find ways to leave reviews for Jamie's rescue. Our experience was awful! & luckily, we have found and are in communication with the puppies from the same litter. They are have had terrible experiences. Jamie gave us sick puppies. She did not vet them properly. 2 weeks after bringing our pup home, she was sent to the hospital and have 3 different strains of parasites. 2 weeks after that ear mites took over. Now, 2 months later, we discovered she has mange.
All the other puppies from the litter have dealt with ALL the same things. We initially contacted Jamie about this, and she swore our dog was the only sick puppy. SHE IS A LIAR.
We never brought our pup back to her for any of the follow up shots. But many of the other puppy parents took their pups back to her for the shots, deworming and nail clippings. Two of them left with bleeding pups after nail trimmings.
Jamie is not trust worthy and is taking advamtage of puppies and people trying to adopt. She also charges $500 for an adoption! The whole thing is shady.
DO NOT ADOPT FROM HER!
