Ridiculous

We stopped into the store to get a pair of jeans we asked the cashier if we could try them on they said we don’t have fitting room. So then I asked her can we bring them back if they don’t fit? She said that we could bring them back for an exchange or store credit. I told her we live over an hour away so it wouldn’t be right away she said that’s totally fine. So we got them home they didn’t fit went back A week and a half later the guy said we couldn’t do anything about it because their policy is seven days. I told him what the lady said and he said I’m sorry that our store policy. I said can I at least exchange them for a bigger size? He said nope I can’t do anything. That to me is crazy. Never heard of a 7 day store policy.
