Flight Vancouver-Kelowna-Calgary-Liberia (Costa Rica) 30 hours of flying, 7 airports as a result of flight delay at Calgary, missing connection to Costa Rica. In Kelowna, we were told to stay on the plane to continue on to Calgary. Half hour later, someone says "you're in our seats" Stewardess advised we needed to switch planes to the other flight to Calgary (same airline) so we exited the half empty plane, hung around Kelowna, caught the next flight to Calgary, which missed the connection to Costa Rica by 10 min. There originally was plenty of time in Calgary under 2 hours. Now facing no flights leaving for 2 days. Florida cousin handicapped, age 73 was meeting us in Costa Rica and now we have left him abandoned. Westjet had good customer care, re-routing us Calgary-Salt Lake City-Kansas-Atlanta-Liberia, did their best. We were running like loons with our carry-on luggage to make tight connections, changing planes in every city.. Arrived exhausted 30 hours later, and Fox Car Rental gave away our 2 week rental. We wanted to call this "Just CRY. Com" instead of Just Fly. As seniors, this was probably the most stressful vacation we had ever attempted. If we had stayed on the original flight to Calgary that we were already on, this wouldn't have happened. Doesn't make sense. There were many available seats. Just Fly's attitude is: blame it on the airline, taking no responsibility or care. Lesson learned. Next time book direct with airline
