AVOID JUSTFLY.COM!!!
I purchased tickets on justfly.com along with the insurance "Extended Cancellation Policy." Less than 24-hours later I needed to cancel the tickets. Justfly.com refused to refund the tickets. When I mentioned that I had purchased the "Extended Cancellation Policy" they stated that according to their records, I had not made that purchase. Fortunately, I took a screen shot of the page which showed that indeed I did select it and purchase it, and I emailed it to them. They said they never received the email. I was on the phone for over 3 hours with 3 different agents and one supervisor - who basically said that they were not obligated to refund the tickets, additionally they would charge a cancellation fee.
Their website says this under their terms and conditions:
For U.S. bookings, even if your ticket is nonrefundable:
• Within 24 hours of purchase, you may cancel your booking and receive a full
refund, subject to our cancellation fees.
• You may choose to opt-in to our Extended Cancellation Policy, for $19.99 per
passenger, which will allow you to cancel up to a full 24 hours after
purchase without subjecting you to our standard administrative
cancellation fees.
Their reply was that they were unable to give the refund because the tickets were for the airlines (Frontier) - they were unrefundable. They were bound to Frontier's terms and conditions. I said you can't follow your own rules because you are following the rules of another company? Yes.
I asked what is the point of the Extended Cancellation Policy if you're not even going to honor it?
justfly.com is a dishonest company. Do not buy your tickets with them! Beware of being swindled!!!
