JUSTFLY.COM RUINED MY BUSINESS CLASS INT'L TRIP
I bought an expensive business class tickets from JustFly.com for the travel using Qatar Airlines. The reference number is 091-904-173.
My original return travel date from Chennai to Atlanta was on 28th May 2018. Due to the health issue I could not travel on 28th May 2018 so on May 27, 2018, I changed my travel date to 5th June 2018 and paid the change fee of $1036.00 to JUSTLFY.COM. Our credit card statement shows $150.00 was paid to the JustFly.com and $886.00 was paid to Qatar airlines for this change of travel date (total is $1036.00). Qatar airlines did issue the updated ticket with 5th June 2018 return travel date.
The flight from Chennai was on 5th June 2018 at 3:30 am. I went to the airport at 12:00 am. I was the first business class passenger who was attended by Qatar associate who handles the business class customers. Qatar associate that my ticket was cancelled by JUSTFLY.COM so I cant travel.
I notified my father and he spent 5+ hours on the phone call with JustFly.com and 30 minute phone calls with Qatar Airlines. I paid another $795.00 to Qatar airlines and traveled on 6th June 2018. Because of Qatar Airlines mistake, I could not report to my Research Project on the scheduled date.
JustFly.com and Qatar Airlines did charge our credit card for the change of travel ticket from 28th May to 5th June
They did send the email with the new travel ticket for the 5th June travel.
They did send the email about the seat change for the 5th June travel date.
They did send the email about the meal change during the 5th June travel date.
There was NO email from them about any purported cancellation.
They never notified the customer prior to my arrival at the airport on 5th June at 12:00 am.
They did not help me to travel as per the paid & issued ticket.
We contacted JUSTFLY.COM customer service via telephone but they are not compensating for this horrible experience.
As of today, we spent more than 9 hours in contacting JustFly.com in trying to resolve this issue get the compensation for our bad experience and we are getting irresponsible response. They just put you on hold for more than 1 hour claiming they are transferring the call to the Supervisor. Couple of times they terminate the calls. So called supervisor comes after 1-1.5 hours and just say JUSTFLY.Com did not cancel the ticket and blame it on the airline.
I request the other travelers to think twice prior to buying tickets from JUSTFLY.COM.
I could not report to my scheduled research because of the mess up caused by JUSTFLY.COM.
