Fake calls
Kall8 are trying to run me a bill by fake calls. I keep receiving fake calls endlessly even at 3 in the morning. The calls seem to be automated since there is always no one on the phone and if it goes to a voice mail it's 10 seconds of silence each time. I tried calling back and those numbers were invalid. Obvious scam! Kall8 should be shut down.

Kall8 Simply Deceptive
I signed up for the Kall8 service, I should have read some of the reviews before I signed up. As described by all the other poor reviews, I got a bunch of phone calls to the number immediately after I set it up, ironically some of these numbers were 206 area code, which is the area code for Kall8. In addition, this company is not transparent about their pricing. They do not send out payment confirmations, requests or otherwise. Once they get your credit card, they just keep charging without warning. I'm not sure of any reputable VoIP provider that does not send out a notice..
I would avoid this service all together if you like transparency. I prefer my vendors to be transparent and therefore canceled all of Kall8's. I fully expect this company to comment on my post - they seem to be active in doing that, which is also alarming. This service is not worth it beware.
After becoming annoyed by their service and assistance, I looked at the reviews: Here is one from someone who compares systems like these.
This is an excerpt from the best toll free - reviews. Basically says it all.
While kall8 only charges for one leg of the phone calls, I'm very dissapointed to see that they charge setup fees on EVERYTING! They even charge setup fees for each advanced feature you add to your account.
Looking for more features?
If you're interested in more features, especially virtual pbx standard features, then I do NOT recommend kall8. Anyone in the market for more robust features should look at RingCentral, GotVMail or VirtualPBX. Adding more advanced features to your kall8 plan is going to cost you a lot of money and to be honest, you can get those features included with your plan with the other virtual pbx companies. kall8 allows for a virtual pbx system; however, there is a setup fee of $50 and a monthly fee of $25 - ouch!

Not trustworthy
Bad service and kept asking for more and more private information (suspicious way of operating...)
It's not enough for them that you pay with your credit card online, I was told that because I live overseas (Switzerland) I had to to fax a signed form with my credit card details, pictures of my personal ID and... picture of my actual credit card!
When I wrote a polite email asking what was the reason for all those requirements when maybe only PayPal Stripe ask for similar amounts of information (not even Shopify asks for all that info) my "account executive" wrote this wonderful piece of customer service:
Kall8 exec: "I have you given you our process for our of country sales. It is protect us and the consumer from fraud. If you want the number, complete within 24 hours or the account set up will be deleted."
This is literally what the guy wrote... do I want Kall8 having all my personal details and info?! No way!
Stay clear of Kall8... I'm thinking about cancelling my credit card and asking for a replacement one just to be on the safe side.
