Gas station discrepancy

Entered Kangaroo Lakeland Dr., Flowood, MS. As I entered an employee rushed across my path cutting me off. She looked at me out of the corner of her eye and did not acknowledge me. I felt it was disrespectful. I had entered for a cappuccino and proceeded to the machine. I always fill the med. cup 3/4 full and top off with decaf. The decaf was brewing, so I waited. When the pot was full and the coffee trickling, I placed a cup under the trickle. Having the pot in my hand, the same employee said loudly in my ear "Mam, that will ruin the whole pot!". Naturally it frightened me to have someone
speak loudly directly into my ear while I'm pouring the coffee. I told her I was late for work, I had to leave. It all seemed so disrespectful. What had I done wrong? I said, "you can keep your d... coffee. She flippantly said, "O.K.". Then I realized at the door that the pot was full; turning I said the "pot was full". She then quipped, "I was trying to keep you from burning yourself." Poor customer service, she didn't even check the status of the pot before attacking me. I work at a hotel behind your store. I use the gas station often for gas, drinks, coffee and food. However, I will never be back and will go out of my way to shop elsewhere. Poor Service

At 1:30 pm. (est.) on 02/19/2014 my son and I stopped in for a hot dog and drink special. This is something we had been doing several times a week. My son headed to get us drinks and I went to the hot dog area. When I got there I found the machine empty and turned off. I approached the cashier and asked if it was broke or were they going to have more. Like I wasn't ever there she started up conversations with the person she had be laughing and joking with when we came in. I figured she must not of heard me so I interrupted her. Sorry but from what I was listening to these two people (the clerk and customer) were engaged in idle conversation. What I mean it was joking around about lottery tickets and if the customer won he would give her a portion and so on. Basically nothing to do with buying or selling for store profits. Finally she answered me after she heard me shout to my son that there was no hot dogs. She said ''we're out because the lunch crowd (about an hour ago) bought them all. I went back and felt of the griddle and it was ice cold. Also I didn't see that many buns gone either. I told my son ''we'll guess we'll have to go to Racetrack Gas Station for dogs. I decided to ask the clerk if they were going to have more she replied ''no.'' Just then she began the joking with the same customer. I again interrupted and said'' we'll I guess we will go to Racetrack.'' The clerk told me to have a nice trip and see ya later.''

The saddest part of this story was the fact I was dealing with the STORE MANAGER the whole time.

Well to let you know I told all the staff and a lot of customers that were listening what had happened at Kangaroo with us. Strange enough two customers added that they don't go to ''Blair Road'' store anymore either. Racetrack store Manager had been listening and came over to me and my son. She wanted to know what Kangaroo had that Racetrack didn't. I told her of the Kangaroo special and she said'' we will match their price.'' Man I'm glad we went to Kangaroo because she even let us get the fresh, (homemade looking) chili also. Suppose to buy it by the bowl.

To close this out my son and I went to Kangaroo this morning (2-20-2014). I bought $40.00 in gas and $8.65 in breakfast hotdogs and drinks. We had a good day so-far. I'll be telling the others we used to meet at Kangaroo - to meet us at Racetrack tomorrow.

Lost gas cap

I think I left my gas cap at this station. It was a locking yellow cap. I hope someone turned it in.

Rude Nasty Employee

Long lines, employees are more interested in stocking shelves then help customer. I had to raise my voice for the female clerk to even look up, then she commenced in breathing me in a loud rude tone. I had to leave the store.

So, thanks to this Rocket Scientist they keep employed there, I have cancelled my fleet accounts (17 vehicles) with BP and will do business with a customer service orientated business. I'm sure we won't miss each other....
