This guy violates the copyright law on his website publishing different authors' work. He also scams the members, beware!

In this site the members are scammed as the owner violates the copyrights of authors publishing online and uses demeaning ways against the members of the site

Not worth the frustration
Being a member is not worth the frustration. Posted poems often get 1 or 2 reviews at best, and they are mostly by amateur poets who aren't qualified to write, much less critique a veteran poet's work. There is some good poetry there, but one must search to find it. The moderators enforce the rules at will and make decisions based on accusations and innuendo rather than investigations and evidence. Members are known for being egotists and bruised egos will get you cursed out.

Harassed, stalked, threatened
I published over 30 poems at Kevin Watt's allpoetry.com web site.
Shortly after joining, and continuing daily until I left the site, I was harassed, stalked and even threatened by a user (to kill me).
Here's my take: the contests are "families" - many of whom are private. One can't access them to see content or posts. So basically, they can say anything in there about new or other users on the site. Some contests are open groups and contests are regularly available. The site encourages you to join these contests to get a larger audience for your poetry.
New users are limited to the poetry feeds of new poems and the feeds from any followers who like your poetry.
After posting my first 5-6 poems, I noticed one of my "followers" composing poems with language from my poems, loosely coded in a way to be less visible. But still, after he did this 3-4 times I decided that it wasn't me anbd that he was indeed posting coded criticism to his followers. After investigating and confirming this, I then went to his post page whereby I found conversations about "me" with references to my user name - again loosely coded.
They play these head games about new users not by responding directly to you, but by being dishonest, coy and evasive game players. I was later referenced as "cauliflower ears" when I later confronted the users about this.
I tired conversing with and reaching out to the most aggressive person but later gave up after he threatened my life and violence against me. You read that right.
Obviously, unless you want your poetry up on google for anyone to steal, your spam email to run over in volume or any other number of criminal things to happen to you, I DO NOT recommend Kevin Watts' allpoetry.com

Meh
I read these five reviews and I don't believe I saw anything positive.
It is true, Kevin never asks ME before he changes things and
I WOULD like a say in what's happening but I probably don't have access
to "the big picture". And Kevin does own the sight.
I have an old fashioned writing style that I am satisfied with. I do NOT
agree that my style should be upgraded to what is "modern now".
I agree that a lot of comments I get are from people who think their
comment should be about my political view or lifestyle rather than
the value of my poem. I just ignore them. What do I can what they think?
I don't care.
The site is not perfect. Kevin is not perfect. The moderators are not perfect.
I can't require something of them that I have not attained myself.
I have never found a better place to post my poetry.

After reading the above reviews on Keven Watt-Allpoetry.com, I am appalled. In no way shape or form, have I felt threatened or personally abused. The site is comprised of inspired poets (from all over the world) who look to their peers for opinions (good or bad) in order to enhance their writing abilities. The contest's are created by the members themselves. There are no limits on subject's or opinions. Just like everyone else some critiques might not be favorable to the author. That is life. You either eat it or starve. In time this enables the author's to cultivate friendship's and followings. That is up to the individual posting their work. What you put in is what you get out. Nothing is more satisfying than helping a young poet grow and flourish into a potential Emily Dickenson or Robert Frost. Keven Watt is an excellent entrepreneur and brings out the best in people. I visit daily to this site for encouragement knowing that there are good people on this planet in the midst of the world's state of unfolding events. In conclusion I highly recommend Allpoetry.com. May God keep you safe and healthy dear poets....
