I work for a cyber security firm and one of the insider secrets is that the internet isn't all that anonymous. Every single post that is made on this and any other message board or forum is ID'd by a unique identifier that can be traced back to the original poster with the aid of law enforcement. Law enforcement has the "missing link" to complete the process which has become even more detailed since the passing of the Patriot Act. The notion that the internet is anonymous is true to a limited extent (mainly in cyber cafes, etc) and is essentially a false sense of security that encourages activity that can later be traced. To simplify, if you're posting from your home, office, etc on a personal computer it can be traced regardless if you wipe the data. The information can be traced directly to your IP address and your uniquely identified computer. This traceroute points to your ISP who has your address, ID, drivers license and/or social security number on file. Briefly: The people here do not care about the internecine squabbles within the "psychic" community, and they are not impressed by your struggle to clear your name. If anything, you are undermining your credibility by clinging to some long-gone feud while claiming to be a creature of love, light, acceptance, and serenity. From the perspective of a non-interested party, you seem vengeful and obsessive; hung up on something somebody said in some cluster of online forums that we've never visited. I am going to listen to your stellar advice but I was curious about something. I just wanted to know . . . have you advised your mentor Mr. Randi in the same way regarding his "internecine squabbles" with Sylvia Browne, Uri Geller, Allison Dubois and countless other people he has had ongoing feuds with for years and years. I mean what's good for the goose . . . right?
But of course, there is some other noble cause behind his crusade against the wicked and mine is not in the same league. He can out Chip Coffey as an evil man and child abuser . . . but I can't. You see I never said anything about what Chip did to me until I saw him on Psychic Kids.
What does a statement like, "I want to be cremated, and I want my ashes blown in Uri Geller's eyes." say about Mr. Randi in your opinion. Does it also seem as you put it, "from the perspective of a non-interested party, "vengeful and obsessive."
And also how does stealing my identity, registering my legal birth name as two domain sites that took people to Chip's website and then asking me to cough up $3000 for my own name get trivialized as "perceived slander" in your book?
