Law Society Fraud In Toronto Canada
Sadly, the Law Society of Upper Canada is a deceptive fraud that can best be described as organized crime - protecting lawyers from criminal prosecution and media exposure. Both the National Post and Toronto Star wrote a half dozen articles exposing the slick way in which 90% of all the complaints received are dismissed without even a preliminary investigation by getting victims to sign a gag order agreement not to even discuss the problems of their attorney with any third parties nor the police, even if they were raped, robbed, or extorted. The case of William Gilmour is just one many typical examples. This lawyer not only was arrested himself for child abuse on August 14th, 2001, but was also forced to resign from his previous law firm (due to billing fraud that caused a Revenue Canada audit) and also from the RCMP for shooting an unarmed teen in the back. He further attempted to steal the business of a motorcycle dealership owned by one off his clients, stole the home of another, and then even tried to sell the confidential legal files of another client for $50,000! Here are the details of that case: http://gilmourlawsocietycomplaint.wordpress.com.
In reality lawyers pay a tidy sum in membership fees to the Law Society every year. This money totals over $5 million and pays for all those salaries, fancy banquets, and malpractice insurance. The mafia calls it "protection money" but the Law Society calls it "dues". After all $3,000 a year is a helluva lot better than going to jail for fraud eh?
