Quality control gone to hell

I have been buying Levi 501 shrink to fit jeans for over 50 years. I wear a 30 or 31 inch inseam. For the last 2 years every pair
I've bought after washing and shrinking are still abought 3 inches too long. This requires alterationto enable me to wear them.
I believe this happened when manufacturing went to Mexico. Please fix quality controll problem!
