What Happened to Quality
I have been wearing Levi jeans since I was a kid I'm 56 now. As the years have gone by I have been less rough on my jeans .but in the last year now my Levi Strauss pants are falling apart . I just purchased a pair in April of this year 2019 and normal wear not work . 1st the corner of both pockets start giving out tearing away . 2nd the crotch start fraying an tearing. All areas where there are seams. The Quality of the material is thin . I'm very VERY disappointed in this Company LEVI STRAUSS was in my option the best jeans made . I paid good money for them and what I got was crap. I hope this company takes all these reviews to heart and takes a look at its production an quality if not It will be another long standing iconic business gone. I just may start my own jean company with the same values and Quality that Mr levi had when he started. Give the people a quality product for a reasonable price . not rocket science

No More
74 Years old.
Telecom lineman etc. for 47 years. Pants = Levi. Boots=Westco Shirts= any long sleeve. Get the picture. No second thoughts.
Bought kids the Silver Label when that was the style, even though price was rediculousl high.
Then Levi saw fit to change the denim grade on 501s, and in a major sin, radically changed the cut of the 505.
Changed to Duluth products for self and family a few years back. F*CK Levi!

The Decline of an American Legend
I've been wearing a pair of Denizen jeans for six months with only very mild use. What a let down today to find the back right pocket with a five inch tear.along the seam. And, additionally, the back left pocket is ripped two inches. What garbage! I've been a dedicated customer of Levis for forty-five years. I guess it is time to move onward to a company that prides itself in its workmanship. I just read the comment above from the British guy. It is sad that people from the world over for decades have visited America and happily brought home numerous pairs of Levi jeans to last for decades--but not anymore. Levi-Strauss was an iconic brand that made one proud to be an American or to buy American. Levis jeans were a legend. But now they are an embarrassment to our country. Perhaps, they are just a symptom of the general downward trend of the U.S.A.. Very very sad. . .
