Do you have a specific case of a problem with her? There are general allegations here including "liars" - something concrete would be helpful.

Liars
I have had exactly the opposite experience with Lisa Martens. My son and I bought 2 beautiful, healthy puppies from her, She was, and still remains caring and helpful. I have no idea what brought about the hateful comments but I wanted to share my experience.

My name is Doug Thoms. First off, Lisa has no "business" dealings with anyone. She is a hobby breeder who LIVES for her dogs. The above false complaint is from Julie Thomas at Windancer Newfoundlands. I am tired of her lies to hurt Lisa's stellar reputation. I am the one who bought a puppy from Julie Thomas at Windancer Newfoundlands for Lisa as a Christmas present. Without getting into a lengthy dissertation, the puppy was riddled with myriad problems and sadly, he died. Julie Thomas was served a letter from my attorney to cease and desist her continual defamation and false claims via Internet, but nothing seems to faze this woman. Lisa called the authorities on her for harassment, still to no avail. I am at Lisa's kennel almost every day. Not ever, EVER, have her dogs gotten into a fight. This is Julie making up false accusations because she cannot sell her own puppies. There are four Rip Off Reports on Windancer Newfoundlands. Google it. Lisa is the most trustworthy person I've ever met, and does not sell defective puppies. She stands behind her dogs 100%.

Liars
I'm disturbed to read this. I have two Newfoundlands from Lisa, the oldest is 7 and the younger one is 3 (Fin & Bess). They are the most wonderful dogs I've ever had in every way. Lisa isn't only my breeder but has become my friend and has been there for me with my endless questions and taught me so much. She is great to deal with and shows her love for her dogs even after they've gone to new homes. The times I went to her kennel, she showed me her facilities and all of her Newfs were as friendly as could be! I wouldn't hesitate buying another Newf from her. My vet always says how healthy they are and what a fine example they are of the breed. I take my Newfs to visit my mother in the nrusing home regularlary and they have the sweetest disposition. This all needs to end. I seems like this is all coming from someone who is jealous and trying to slander a good person.
