Repeatedly shipped wrong item

I have ordered from LKQ many times and never has an issue. As a matter of fact, there was a repair I was working on for a Mustang and needed the part which was out of stock. LKQ found the part and shipped it to me overnight delivery for no charge after they located one. My advice to you would be call again, because the experience you describe is not at all what I have experienced and I know they will help you out.

LKQ - Terrible Vendor

We own a collision repair shop and are VERY frustrated with LKQ and Keystone (owned by LKQ). We have MULTIPLE concerns regarding our account with the company. Our credit card shows multiple charges. When we began to question the charges and requested a complete printout of our account from 2011, we were given nothing but excuses. Needless to say, we still haven't received a printout of our account. We believe it's because LKQ and/or Keystone has billed us incorrectly and they don't want us to know it.
Also, this company is the absolute worse about sending out the wrong parts. When we receive the wrong parts, which happens almost daily, the delivery driver doesn't want to take them back. Why? Because the driver is on commission. When parts are returned, the driver doesn't get his cut. We have had parts sit for MONTHS before the driver finally agrees to take them back.
Also, the driver doesn't provide us with a return merchandise invoice. I have yet to receive one return invoice from said driver. This constantly creates issues because the merchandise that we returned doesn't get credited back to our account. Therefore, we have paid for parts that we have returned. Obviously, these "errors" always favor LKQ and/or Keystone. (Yes, I have asked the driver for the return item invoices, but he says that he's too busy and doesn't have time to write one out. I can't force him to give me one.)
I have no faith in this company and have considered contacting the Better Business Bureau. We use several different vendors on a daily basis and LKQ and/or Keystone is the only one we have issues with. After reading the complaints about this company on the internet, I now know we aren't the only ones and our complaints are valid. We have practically stopped using LKQ and/or Keystone completely and have decided to use another vendors who will price match.

they Stole my money

I installed a customer supplied part on a Ford F150. This engine lasted for a week. The customer got a replacement engine and ask me to replace it again. During the process LKQ sales manager call me and ask me if I could consider giving this customer a brake and not charge him for the labor again. I told them that my labor will not cover customer supplied parts. After a long conversation this manager told me they will pay me $800.00 and the customer will pay the difference to which I agreed. Later on He called me back and told me to please release the car to the customer that the check was cut and he personally will put it in the mail that afternoon. For over 25 days he repeated that in my probably 15 calls.. Now he said that he did not know that the engine was not bought for me so he can not issue a check on my name. Accouints payable told me That the check was issued but was issued on the name of the person who bought the engine, Gary Gay... Guess what, he is an LKQ employee.
Now the sales manager said that he did not knew the whole story and that he can not do anything. Thieves. that what this people is.

THE WORST EVER STAY CLEAR

I recently had some dealings with them and I'm here to tell you that what they do is deplorable! I ordered $2,000 worth of parts and none of it showed up right! Any extra parts were removed on parts sold as "assemblies" and none of my requests were carried out. The guy I delt with was obviously embarrassed about the whole thing and said "I deal with it everyday" but my hands are tied. He also said "I would feel just like you do had it happened to me"..
When the manager came out to deal with the issue he said "assemblies have a asterix to them" and I told him that "asterix" is hurting your business! Someone standing in line said he's had the same issues.
the other issue I had was the pricing is nearly and sometimes over new retail! I don't understand this level of greed!!!
I'm actually surprised this company is still in business.
I'm waiting for refund and told them "never again" NEVER.

They don't stand by their warranty

I agree they shouldn't still be in business I purchase a engine for a 2008 Mazda 5 2.3 engine the first engine I purchased for $1090.00 was a bad engine. My sell person told me he had to put in a claim and I been knowing my sell person for twenty years so they had someone to call me I talked to him he told me that he had to send out a technician to check out the engine because the engine didn't have any pressure on any of the cylinders.So took the engine back and they had another engine the first one had 108kmiles the second one suppose had 87k miles and I installed it and it wasn't any good so now the same thing again the claim person for the first clam wasn't professional he was rude, the second claim man was bad then the first person, and on the receipt has RUN TESTED and good
