Fraud

I was in a accident that required the engine of my car to be replaced. The insurance company specified a salvaged engine and one was found at LKQ Corp. that was stated to have lower miles than the original. It was purchased by the repair facility and they started work. I inquired about receiving documentation to verify the mileage and was told all they had was an invoice. I then asked for a vin number and researched the replacement engine to find that the vehicle it came out of had one owner and was totaled at two times the mileage they stated on their invoice to the repair facility. I then notified the repair facility and insurance company and after a week and half they finally figured out that LKQ had lied about the mileage of the salvaged engine. This was an intentional lie because they continued to lie about even after being confronted about the mileage issue. If you ever have any dealings with this company make sure to check the VIN against the department of vehicles records. There is no telling how many people get ripped off by this type of scam. And never trust that the repair facility or insurance company will catch this, neither will have a quality plan in place.

bill you twice send nothing then tell the customer to screw themselves, its the lqk way talk to Brad Davis if you dont belive me

Several times now I have tried to give LKQ money for parts. They never show up, sometimes I can drive 80 miles or so to get them myself but that was a waste of time the part was in worse shape than the one I was replacing. The had no trouble mailing me a bill for 2 parts not just 1 like I ordered. I gave up. Again I gave them a chance only to be lied to again. Then After inquiring the status, Brad Davis a supposed salesman told me since he couldn't figure out how to ship something that I needed to drive 80 miles again to get it myself. so what am I paying for? Don't bother calling to file a complaint there is nobody to talk to this type of business is normal for them. Also LKQ Keystone automotive and ATK engines are all the same company, DO NOT BUY A UESD OR REBUILT MOTOR IF YOU WANT IT TO RUN. These people are incapable of doing anything they say. I have plenty of pics of a "REMAN" motor the slapped together it's pitiful. My Ex wife was more loyal and lied less then these people. It goes to show when your dealing with trashy people you get trashy service. Not to mention I got my part for 200% less at a local junkyard. I guess ill have to drive 5 mins away to get parts now, but having them delivered to the shop sure did sound nice.
Brad Davis is a prime example of someone with no regard for his job, nobody to hold him accountable he will sit at his desk making 30,000 grand a year and be happy because he doesn't have to work. I don't see how theses people sleep at night

Screw you, mr. customer...

I contacted LKQ in Tampa Fl. at 5109 Causeway Blvd,Tampa, FL 33619 by phone, was told," All of our inventory is available online." So i asked,"All parts are currently on these vehicles online?" They replied,"Yes." So i drove about 10 miles to get to them, paid my $2.00 charge to enter. Then I asked again, "The three vehicles in the these spots are still here and have all their parts available?" They replied,"yes." I searched their yard to find out that all three vehicles in question were stripped completely. I then asked their manager,"These on my list are completely stripped. There are no more usable parts. I checked your availability online before i came here, I also called." He then replied," So, we took pictures of it when it came in, and the parts were there then. What do you want me to do about it?" I asked,"When did they come in?" he replied,"last year." Great customer service skills..... I informed them that I fully understood were the conversation was going. I then exited the property. I know it is only $2.00 but is they are like that over a petty amount, I'm glad i didn't spend more.
