Can’t Get Wood
we are experiencing the same problem with Lumber Liquidators, and have been walking on a partially finished floor for months. Wood ordered in October, it is now Dec. 29th, and this is still not resolved--no response from our assigned customer care specialist, and have called and email three times today alone! If someone from lumber liquidators is monitoring this board, and wishes to assist in resolving, I would love to hear from them...

I too am one to do thorough research on all potential purchases, on even something as inexpensive as good quality kitchen towels or countertop ovens! I am so thankful to have come across this site. We are building a home and needed to purchase 2800 sq feet of floor for now and 1600 sq feet more in the future IF we were happy with the results. I work too hard for my money to do business with a company that has this kind of reputation. ESPECIALLY on a once in lifetime expensive type of purchase. Thank you all for taking the time to warn the rest of us, I am so sorry for your loss.

LUMBER LIQUIDATORS IS THE POOREST EXCUSE FOR WOOD FLOORING EVER AND THEIR PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE TO SAY THE LEAST! We have over $20, 000 invested in hardwood flooring from this pathetic company and like obviously thousands of others scammed, our floors are cupping and buckling everywhere! They sent out what they called "an independent flooring expert". ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT!!! This suppossed "expert" claimed that we had a humidifier in the basement draining into a crack in the basement floor. BLATANT LIAR!!! It is piped right into the plumbing. Asshole attributed the floors buckling to guess what...humidity! Sound familiar? No matter what part of the country these complaints come in...doesn't matter...humidity - imagine. Their 50 year warranty doesn't cover humidity - how freaking convenient! What do they cover then...a meteor hitting the house? DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SUB-STANDARD COMPANY! THE WARRANTY IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! I say we should definitely all file a class action law suit. Anyone know a good lawyer? Email [email protected]

They are thieves and fraudulent, don't buy from them
LL Response to the Haywoods complaint:
The purchase involves a liquidation item clearly marked as such with a disclaimer that states: "The item has been discounted becuase it did not pass our product inspection. It may have defects including, but not limited to, splits, misgrading, unfinished areas, rough finish and so on- THIS PRODUCT IS SOLD AS IS with No returns, cancellations, or warranties" The claims made here by the consumer are a matter of hear-say and LL only addresses facts when investigating such claims. The FACT here is that LL fully disclosed the material before purchase and the best advice we can give is to purchase a product with a warranty if quality is of concern, otherwise buying a close out liquidated item as they did, we retain a signed copy of their acceptance of the material SOLD AS IS, on file and they had every right to choose somethign else, but purchased this for the low price. If you want quality, don't shop for liquidated items as we have tons of brand new in the box items will warranties up to 100 years for instance when buying Bellawood. Sorry you remain unhappy, but our position here remains unchanged as we addressed this with you many months ago.
