Horrible treatment with their employees!
Wow! Reading all these comments about a company I used to work for is amazing. I do have to say I'm in agreement as I did work in the office with Alan Brooks for a long time. I'm not an ex-employee bashing because I was "wronged" or anything, I left on my own accord. However, I must throw in the fact that none of the people that run the place have a conscience and no, Rod does not know half the crap that his so called "family" pulls, but that is his own fault. It's sad too, because in the end, it's his name that will be drug through mud. But at the same token, none of those so called "family members" that run Majic Window obtained their jobs on merit.

Great Job
Majic Windows come out to install my windows. Their workman hit my drywall with one of the windows and took off a part of it. They also broke the trimming on one of my windows and crack part of the drywall around that window. Now I have to patch it up and buy paints to paint both wall and trimming. The also installed one window with a broken bottom sash and another with a crack on the frame and a bubble in the glass. They came back to replace those bottom sashes, but now they are now very hard to open and close. They instaledl my doorwall and it is so difficult to open. I called and complaint to them that my daughter can not open this door because it sticks once you close it. I told them that they need to fix it and that it's a fire hazard since my kid is 7 years old and can't open it and she is a gymnast and stronger than many other 7 year olds. The supervisor was RUDE! She said that is how their door walls are made and there's nothing they can do about it. That is a bunch of BS. If that's how their doorwalls are built then everyone with kids under 10 years old would probably have complain by now and they would have a class action law suit against them. Now we will probably get some other window company to install a new door wall for us that will work properly. All door walls are supposed to be able to be open by children 4 years or older. Not to mention that I have condensations on all the windows and I don't even use a humidifier at home. Also their sales person was pushy and lied and now I realized we got charge way too much for them. He said the windows would be installed within 7 weeks and I think it took twice as long. Don't buy Majic windows. THEY ARE A RIP OFF. THEY CHARGE TOO MUCH FOR WINDOWS, AND WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM, THEY DON'T WANT TO FIX IT!

Horrible treatment with their employees!
I will play devils advocate. I had ordered windows and had them installed in my house and my rental. They did an excellent job! Showed up on time, worked diligently and were knowledgeable. I did have a problem about 3 months later with some trim. I called customer service and they sent a repairman out 2 days later and solved the issue. He apologized for the inconvenience and offered me 4 tickets for my husband and I, along with our children to go see a family movie, Nice Gesture!! Well Done! Great Service, patience is the key, offer them up a pitcher of some southern sweet and you are in!!! I cant be more happy than when the lady of the week stops buy, !!! I think some people like to grouch because they are just unhappy and want to exude thay have been cheated.

Unprofessional Sales Manager
On Friday, September 23 at approximately 1:45 p.m., I met with a marketing manger (Matthew) from Majic Window Co. at my condo in West Bloomfield. This appointment was made a couple days earlier by a door to door solicitor from this company. I told the solicitor at the time that I was considering getting a new door, but that I would get two other estimates from other companies before I would make a final decision. Of course, he assured me that this was not a problem.
None the less, during the appointment on Friday, Matthew became very upset when after completing his sales pitch, I told him that I would not agree to purchase – on this day – a new entrance door and two sliding doors in the kitchen; he had given me estimates for both.
When he first entered my condo, he told me that this appointment could take one and a half hours – to which I replied that that time span seemed a bit long. He then told me to turn off my television and computer so he would have my full attention, and he spoke for approximately an hour.
After I had listened to the reasons why fiber glass doors and windows are much better than plastic or wood, he gave me the estimation of cost -$11, 627.00. Shortly after this initial estimate, he reduced the price by 25%. The cost dropped to $8721.00. Of course,
The lower price was based on my same-day purchase. Well, I did not take the bait. So shortly thereafter, he told me that he would reduce price to $6800.00, although he said that he really would not make much profit off of the deal. Next, he offered to take ‘before’ pictures of my kitchen sliding doors and front door. After the job was complete, he would take the after ‘after’ pictures. The implication again was that I would agree to the sales transaction on this particular day. When I asked him if such was the case, he said yes. But when I said “no” to his final offer he became very irate.
Matthew commented on how I basically wasted his time and that he could have been talking to serious buyers. After all his company has a four month waiting period to install windows, and a three month waiting period to install doors. I told him that I would get two other estimates before making a final decision. He repeated information as to why fiber glass doors and windows were the best, and added that most people would not even consider getting plastic after hearing the information he had given me. I told him I never make a same day purchase of any significant amount of money. His demeanor got even worse, as he probably realized that his prospect of a sale was quickly slipping away. He rudely questioned me as to why I would not make this purchase. I told him I would speak with a supervisor at his company regarding his unprofessionalism. He gladly gave me the name, Alan. I told him that it was time for him to leave and he continued on his unprofessional rant as he packed up.
I did contact Majic Window Co, and left a message with Alan, but I have not gotten a response yet. My advice to others is that if you hear the name Majic Windows, you should do some “magic” of your own and disappear. By far, Matthew is the most unprofessional marketing manager that I’ve dealt with in life!

Unbelievable
Buyer Beware! Do your homework, get multiple quotes for the work you would like done! The sales rep will tell you ANYTHING you want to hear, but will be a complete fight (including insults to you) when it comes to the installation process of product! Check the negative reviews with the BBB.

Run like the wind
We have purchased replacement windows, doorwaall, entry door from Magic. Our first purchase, windows, went very well. We liked the windows and purchased a door wall. The contracts are still filled out by hand, involving multiple copies that become less legible the lower the copy. Although we reviewed the contract and thought it was clear about all specifications, it nevertheless had some ambivalent language. When we consulted the salesman, he suggested that both my husband and I might have some deficiencies in the faculty department. Calling the office did little, ending with a letter to the office to which there was no reply. We then purchased a replacement front door from them. A j-channel was not replaced correctly. It took several calls and several months to get that done. Once again, calling the salesman did no good. He didn’t answer or return calls. In the Spring of 2018, our door wall began to leak. Again we waited for a couple of months to have it evaluated. On June 13th we payed the $75 fee and were told new panels had to be ordered. We called Magic when nothing was done in July and August. In September Matt told us they were having having difficulty with their supplier, but he was assured it would be in within the next two deliveries. In October, the worker came to install the panels. He informed us that we also had to have the glazing parts, which had to be ordered. When questioned, Magic assured it wouldn’t take another six months for thes parts. Well, it is now March,2019. We were finally scheduled to have our door wall repaired today, March 22. Just got a call from Matt that we wouldn’t be getting our job done because Brian was at another job and wouldn’t get to us. Less than happy, I was told they could schedule us for April 10. When I asked if they could come next week, he said it wasn’t possible. Once again, I asked if they couldn’t postpone one of next week’s jobs to do ours, Matt told me he wouldn’t have anyone in the area. I then asked if having someone in the area was essential to getting th job done, he said somewhat. When I expressed my displeasure, Matt said, “Do you want the April date or not?” Obviously disgusted with me, he was ending the queries and complaints I had and have. I repeat my title. If you are contacted by Magic Window Company, Run! Good product, but horrible managers and owners, as well as less than honest salespeople.
