web development
They did the same to our company we are located in Spain, and they called us to discuss the project, seems to be very professionals but when the delivery date arrives, they hasn´t nothing developed, and just the same as you made thousands of excuses, to be contacted the next day, that our contact was out of the city, that he was at the hospital with a friend, that he is with a flu, so many excuses to do not achieve it. They allways send emails like, you´ll be updated in 4 hours, and 2 days later you need to contact them because there wasn´t news, our contacts were: Tom Callahan, Geroge Wilson, but it´s very possible this didn´t exist, an finally we were contacted by Sudip Roy that as I read in other forums is the brain of this "company" of cheaters, be careful we lost 3200 $

Maketick's operation questionable
We retained MakeTick's service through Guru.com and after receiving very impressive links from a George Wilson to websites supposedly created by MakeTick and great techno-lingo about their ability to convert our database to web pages, we signed their agreement - and, foolishly, gave them a deposit upfront. The project's completion estimate was 44 days and the "project manager" was someone named Roy Smith. After 30 days, we had received nothing but 3 worthless sample pages of a shopping cart - which was the easiest part of the project and something we were willing to do ourselves. When we inquired about it, we received excuses and delay tactics. MakeTick then requested another deposit for the "second" part of the project. Since we had not seen any results from the first part of the project that was worth the $1,042 initial deposit, we decided to cancel the project. We were then asked to contact Supid Roy via phone. We wrote to him instead because we prefer having written documentation of all communications. Never received a reply.
We had to "eat" the deposit because we had authorized Guru.com to pay it directly to MakeTick (instead of using their SafePay method). This was extremely difficult for our small nonprofit organization, but we could not see ourselves embroiled in spending more money on attorney fees to file lawsuit for a company based in India.
We cannot possibly recommend a company that apparently preys on unsuspecting consumers. And we also suspect that those writing great reviews about Maketick are their employees.
