Consumer complaints were found about San Diego attorney Bryan Rho works for disgraced La Mesa attorney Scott McMillan, The_McMillan_Law_Firm. Scott McMillan lost two federal court cases where he sued to remove a report about his involvement in child molestation with family friend Kenneth Bourke who was arrested for molesting his daughter. In fact, the entire McMillan family represented is connected to Ken Bourke where they assisted him in an appeal in which SanDiego attorney Scott McMillan lost. The Scott McMillan made yet another request for attorney fees for helping out his child molesting friend in Bourke v. Castanda, 4th DCA, Case No. D024992 a family friend who was for arrested child molesting, Kenneth Bourke pro per, acknowledges McMillan ghost wrote his brief (McMillan klan did not sign or acknowledge it wrote the brief):
“Plaintiff requests reversal of Anti-Strike Ruling, and denial of Defendant’s unjustified attorney fee award of $19,500. (It includes inflated “training costs” for unlicensed new interns, which judge was no discretion to award) and requests order for reimbursement of costs plus attorney fees for legal support assistance from associated supporting legal counsel Attorney Shaun McMillan, Esq., Attorney Scott McMillan, Esq. Attorney Jim McMillan, Esq, $10,000 each, to McMillan Law LLP for legal assistance, counsel and services....”
San Diego attorney Bryan Rho and Scott McMillan may attempt to restart the failed McMillan Academy of Law. In 2018 the State Bar basically called the law school a fraud who only had three students in twelve years and ZERO graduates.
Scott McMillan proclaimed himself “Dean” of the McMilllan Academy of Law, but had to disclose to potential students he was a Dean to no one: "We have had one student take the First Year Law Students' Examination and that student passed. This is the basis for the 100% pass rate thus far. As of yet, no students have graduated from the Academy."
