Deceptive business practices!
I recently(October) received an email ad from Medicus selling golf instructional DVDs. The ad contained a link, which took me to a Medicus page offering the DVD for only $5.95 with free shipping. Naturally I assumed the cost of the device was $5.95.
My credit card was quickly charged for $8.94; which was higher than I though but not much so I didnt mind it too much. But the following month, my credit was charged again for a total of $49.90; so I called them to complain and not to send me anything else and stop everything. They assured me that it will not happend again. But then more charges appeared again in December for $49.90. I called them again and this time they had more excuses and said that I had enrolled in a monthly online instructional course. I told them I did no such thing but they insisted that I signed up. I again told them to stop everything but then they said it was manditory yearly online subsciption and they were going to charge me $49.90 for the next year.
I have sent back everything to Medicus but they are still charging my credit card.
This company should be SHUT DOWN for their deceptive practices

Deceptive business practices!
I too ordered a video for $5.95 with free shipping. Lo and behold I found that they were then billing me $9.95 per month thereafter for an "on line" video instruction I did not want and did not order and had no instruction on how to access this video. After several phone calls I have been told this has been canceled but they would only refund 5 of nine payments, period. I requested that management call me since the agent claims no one is available. He said effectively that they might call but he could not assure me of a return phone call. Claimed they "may" call in next 5-10 business days. Still waiting. Does anyone know their corporate phone and address?
