Hired Metro to represent me in an insurance claim. Had Metro Representative JoAnn Pendleton visit my home viewed my damage and I signed a Metro contract. I was told by Ms. Pendleton that I would receive a copy of my insurance's co's estimate from Metro (A LIE, #1) and that if Metro can't get me more than their 35% fee over my insurance co.'s estimate, they would "walk away" and NOT CHARGE ME A FEE. (A LIE # 2)
Met with my insurance co adjuster and Metro representative (wife of Metro adjuster who who looked totally unprofessional and basically said nothing nor did anything but walk around).
Within a few days I received a check from my insurance company for the estimated damages which I would have received without Metro and a letter from Metro. Received a call a few days later from Ms. Pendleton who tried to tell me that there would be future checks coming from my insurance company and that this is the first check. (A LIE #3). Metro never contacted my insurance adjuster nor did they represent me in the manner they stated in their contract. (A LIE # 4)
DON'T SIGN A CONTRACT WITH METRO PUBLIC ADJUSTERS. REPORT THEM TO BBB.
I will seek legal counsel, if necessary to remedy this breach of contract.
