I highly doubt that Microsoft is reading this complaint board. You should contact them by phone instead of posting here and giving you email address. Or, you can call your bank and dispute the charges and get a new card so that this cannot happen again.

I was charged 74.99 on my debit card by microsoft xbox live. I do not have or want anything to do with an xbox or its games. After hours on the phone and several trips to my credit union I have to file a police report to attempt to get my money back. When I finally spoke to someone at microsoft they say no charges were billed to my card number. But how else would it get on my account if they did not send it? BIG SCAMMERS!!! Mary Ann

i went to my credit union to find out about a credit card charge i did not authorize. the credit union had sources to track down the phone number that was attached to the charge was called and I found that my child thought he was downloading a game that showed it was free, but when he downloaded on x-box live the charge showed up 3 days later. I did not get my money back since the game was downloaded and my credit card information had been stored on his game site, so it automatically charged it. I had all credit card information remove from his account, so this will not happen again. I hope this will help someone else- the number is 800-469-9269, you have to have the x-box live account number, the answer to your secret question that was put in when you obtained x-box live &/or credit card number, date charge occurred and amount.

I also had a monthly charge of 9.99 when my son downloaded a game and when that game finished downloading, another game came up that he had not selected and started downloading, which had a reoccurring monthly charge. He tried to cancel the 2nd game, but it would not stop downloading until it finished, so that could be where some of the charges are coming from if you have x-box live and have charged anything on your account lately. Microsoft x-box live phone number is 800-469-9269 and the lady that I talk with was very helpful. But I went to my credit union and the bank manager help me contact them, since I could not get a number. I hope this will help some of you.

cancel the futures debits

I d'ont have complaints about xbox live, but a need you cancel all my futures debits because I d'ont use more yours services..
On december/2012 a received a debit on my credit card of 182,88 USD and I end my acount whith this debit.

I was charged 19.99 through my credit card . No phone number to call xbox live to dispute it and I would like my money back.

that is about 180.81 in Fraudulent charges and need to returned.!! I called the bank statement phone number which wont work unless you have a phone number with it. and there is none so here I am. Same thing with me except been going on for 2 years and my daughter signed up at a preteen without my knowledge. Since we have a different phone number they give us the following message before allowing us access to remove my billing account information (my daughter hasn't used Microsoft Xbox Live for the 2 years & could careless if her account is closed):

(Again, when we try to do something either through “Manage Payment Options” or “Cancel Auto Payment” we get the below message each time when trying to cancel for the last 24 months; I'm fighting thyroid cancer which has metastasized & I'm sure Microsoft is enjoying my lack of energy so they can keep taking advantage of me as a single mom who is critically ill)

Why can't they have other security measures beside a telephone like every other company in the world?

BILLED TWICE

I had funds taken twice for 59.99 on 8/31 I didnot order anything much less for 119. dollars because of this I now owe overdraft charges to my bank . Please contact me so as we can correct this. it is costing me 39 dollars a day [email protected]

Unauthorized charges

Unauthorized credit card charges has caused enough disturbance to me. I took my issue up to get fixed @ customer care weeks ago. Microsoft team did block my card but as yet my concern is not addressed. Also, team support established that I didn't authorize the charges.

I want refunds for the fraudulent transactions done. It is on the company to protect registered accounts and avoid causing financial damages.

UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES!!!

I am having a charge of $9.99 taken from my account monthly that I did not authorize and when I go to my account on the web there are no stored card information or subscriptions that I have, so I can't stop what's not there. Please resolve this Immediately!!!!

Continuing to Charge my Card after XBox Live cancellation

We had closed our XBox accounts but one SOMEHOW got left open. Just discovered they've been charging my card for who knows how long $9.99 a month. I'm a single mom and this really adds up! After I got a hold of someone, I had to copy and paste all the order numbers and dates in their very un-user-friendly form. I then got a denial!!! They are a trillion dollar company and yet won't reimburse $70 to a customer they have now lost permanently.
I called back but getting a hold of someone at Microsoft is very difficult and then when you do, there is NO billing department you can speak with. They are a terrible, terrible rip off company.
Does Bill Gates know what a scam of a business he represents???
