Youve been warned
Similar thing happened to me... I never applied for any payday loans through my loan.co.uk, and suddenly i realised they charged me 69.99£ as a processing admin fees.
I tried contacting them but they are closed for christmas until 3/1/12..
how come they are closed and still they can bloody process an application with all these stupid hidden fees...
there are 2 ways to get your money back, one by cancelling your membership if it is within 14 days cooling off period, where the admin fees will be reimbursed in 30days of time from your cancellation date.
2nd way is I heard of this company getmyloanfeesback.com, i dont know how they work and if they are genuine or not... you can try it as well as long as it doesnt incur any hidden fees... lol

The same happened to me, I didn't completed my application form when I realised that they are only a broker, however £69.99 was taken from my account the following day. The company has two CCJs in recent months so don't understand how they are able to operate as a financial broker. If you feel that is a con you need to contact Financial Omnibusman.

RIP OFF BROKERS
I'm in a similar predicament to you, as I originally searched online for loans and came across a company called Frontier Finance that offered a brokerage service to help find and secure loans. I was told that they had a loan that matched my search criteria and that I would need to submit my card details for a credit check and if a loan was secured; a payment would be taken. However, there was no specific loan and instead I received several different text messages from various companies offering me loans. When I queried these companies there APR and interest rates started at 48% and above and most of them were payday loans... To add insult to injury, i.e. my bad financial situation, ECS welcome loans had taken a payment of £71.00 from my debit card that I had offered for a credit check. This is disgusting and these types of brokers and financial institutions prey on vulnerable people. There has to be a crack down on this and I have complained to Trading standards as well as the Financial Ombudsman as the company Frontier Finance also working under the names personal loan finders i.e. www.plf.co.uk and ECS welcome loans have not yet replied to any of the correspondence that I've sent in which I’ve requested my money back.. I am not going to give up on this as it's completely Immoral and despicable, that these types of companies can take advantage of people so easily via the Internet. ECS LOANS WORKS UNDER THE NAMES PLF AND FRONTIER-FINANCE AND THEY ARE BASED IN OLDHAM!!!!! HOPE THIS HELPS...

merlin loans
i was browsing the net for a possible £100 payday loan. I was only wanting a loan if it was a direct lender like what wonga are. I kept being diverted to other web pages by 3rd party loan companies. I must have be transfered onto Merlin Loans at some point because on my payday the withdrew £39.39 from my bank account. I tried phoning them but only get an anser machine which says there are no reps avalable at this time so I sent a "cancelation" letter to them by recorded deliver saying to return my funds and why would I pay a membership fee of nearly £40 for a £100 payday loan?I still got no responce.I recently got a call from a company saying they work with merlin Loans and for me to go onto getmyloanfeesback.co.uk The server seems to be down at this time but I will keep trying. If you are looking on line for any loans make sure there are no hidden fees and also make sure you read everything very closly just incase your charged a "1 off small membership fee to find the right loan for you as we have a huge panel of lenders waiting to help you".
