insurance scam
This company contacted me when I needed a new insurance. They offered me their services and everything seem to be reliable and worthful. I was stupid when I didn't look for them online and didn't read the reviews. After we made a contract I wasted my money because they never provided me insurance services and ignored all my claims. I tried to contact them many times but each time I was ignored or didn't receive any adequate reply.
After my negative experience I will never recommend this company to anyone, be careful!

Health insurance
Total ripe off.not an insurance at all. Everything I was told was a total lie.tried for six weeks to get a hold of someone about our insurance finally after about 20 tries someone told me I couldn't call that number and connected me with someone else. She told me this is not insurance only a discount card that we pay 500.00 dollars a month for. And to file a grievance which probably will not get me anywhere.

Insurance Scam
Was contacted by NEC they the lady that called represented the Company as a low cost Health Insurance Company (THEY ARE NOT). It took 30 days to get my PKT only to discover they were worthless discount cards. When I called to cancel I was told there was no refund policy and they needed 30 days cancellation notice. They took me for over $600 when my card was hit the second time I spoke to Al who told me too bad do not call us again and hung up.

Purposely Deceitful
Was Contacted by NEC after filling out a request for a quote on a Blue Cross website. We asked for a major medical plan that met the requirements of having insurance under Obamacare. We were told this was a major medical plan that fulfilled those requirements. We kept reiterating our needs and was assured this would meet them. After waiting a week to receive the email with information on the plan we had purchased, we called back to see why we had not received anything. They sent us the info that day and we were appalled to find, after reading the first few words that we did not have anything near what we were led to believe. We had purchased discount cards and our plan did not qualify as having insurance. We were intentionally deceived. We asked all the right questions which were answered to make us think we had a major medical plan. We called and cancelled immediately requesting a refund. We were told they would refund all but the association fees which they had informed us originally would not be refunded. I replied that I thought they should, due to their misrepresentation of what we asked for vs what they gave us. They said they had me on recording acknowledging the non refundable fee. I asked them to play it back for me and was rudely told they didn't have to. I urge everyone to stay away from the NEC. If you ever hear the words "association fee" when applying for a major medical plan, consider that a red flag, and run away as fast as you can.
