never received my purchase
Buyer, beware! purchased a new transmission for my car three months ago and never received my order! My card was charged immediately but I didn't receive even an invoice! They replied on my email and asked to wait, but nothing happened.

@Jack Clark stumbled upon your "review" and I have purchased 3 transmissions from NWR now and find your review suspicious at best. I own a repair shop in Pueblo Colorado and I have been happy with all transmissions I have received and have always had quick service and returned voicemail; when my salesperson was not available at the time I called.
You ordered a transmission but never received an invoice and just waited 3 months to see if it showed up? Very strange that you would buy a item that was thousands of dollars with no receipt and just wait 3 months for it to show up? Suspect at best. It is also weird the only two reviews are yours and some spam review on the same day.
Did you call the company, you said you emailed them but nothing happened, but did you call? I would call them up and ask for info, they can give you information quickly and if you can not get your salesperson leave a message for a manager.
I am forwarding your review to my salesperson and I am sure they will reply to this. If you are an actual customer then I am sure they will act fast to see what went wrong and work to see how they can help you out.

Hello Mr. Clark,
I am the office manager for Nationwide, I was contacted by an employee about your review. I have confirmed with our tracking system that all transmissions ordered in the time frame you gave in your review, have been delivered. I have also checked our merchant account for any customer by your last name that has had a credit card charged in the last year, and I can not locate any record of you.
Also it is impossible for the credit card to be charged without an invoice being generated and I have also checked our internal invoice system for your name and can not find you. Please contact me as soon as you can @ orders@nationwidereman"dot' com I will see if I can help you in anyway. I am also curious if maybe you were meaning to leave this review for another company?
Thanks, Teresa

Never received transmission
I ordered transmission and they kept giving excuses and bogus answers saying it shipped, shipping department forgot to put it on truck, trucking company did not want to drive today because of the union. After 3 weeks still no transmission and I only live 5 hours away from Austin. I even offered to pick it up myself and they refused. Don't buy from this company. Ripe off.

I HATE HOTDOGS
Funny you say that same with my husband....we almost did this year. We were gonna start at the farmers market.
Costco all beef you can get them cold of in the food court.....I prefer the costco ones but my husband likes the hebrew nationals they have them in fat free and he claims they are the best. They do smell really good.
Oh and garlic bologna sandwich, fried in tabasco and cheese is my favorite.
I am pretty grossed out about meat usually.

Nationwide Remanufacturing
This a copy of the letter I forwarded to a local news agency about these rip-off artists at Nationwide Remanufacturing (Oh, did I mention I STILL haven't received my replacement transmission and now they don't answer the phone !!!) If I lived near Austin, TX, I would go to this shop to PERSONALLY, trust me ...
I was looking for any information on how to go after companies that you purchase merchandise from online. In January of this year I purchased a transmission online from a place in TX named "Nationwide Remanufacturing". I have a 2002 Ford Explorer and no money to purchase a new vehicle so when problems occur I need to try to keep the repair bills down. The truck has been pretty good overall, I did have to buy a rebuilt engine approx 4 years ago and also did this online, I had a positive experience and (knock on wood) the engine has been top notch. Now, to the transmission. When I purchased the trans, everything the website stated started to become a false reality. First the initial delivery took almost a month to get to my mechanic. The weather seems to have delayed the process but even when the unit got here, the company claimed that the shipping company they were using had dropped the crate so they were sending a replacement unit. Mind you , by this time I had already been waiting a month to get this unit. When the unit finally arrived at the shop, the Tort Coverter was missing, so I called the company again, I was told that they didn't have the correct one in stock so they had to order from a separate company and send via UPS. Up until this point, I had called the company and spoke with first a man named Stan and then several calls were answered by a customer sales rep named Lee. It is Lee who I have been speak with for the last 2-3 months!
After the unit is installed, 3-4 days later the O/D light starts to blink, which means that there is something wrong with the transmission. I had already been 2 months without my truck and I live in Morrisville and commute to Allentown M-F to go to work, so my vehicle is ESSENTIAL, and i had already been working from home, using personal time when I couldn't locate another way to work, etc. it's been a VERY frustrating experience. And to top it off, every time I'd call the company, I'd get the run around about how these were top inspected units and, very little to no issues. Well, I stated to Lee that very little or not, this unit is defective. Come to find out from my mechanic that besides the Tort converter, the unit came with no new outside sensors. Based on the website, all of this was gaurenteed as part of the delivery in a "timely and inexpensive manner".
I am forced to drive the truck for a little while and the light goes on and off, with no real change in performace, it's still running. I contacted the company to see if they could forward the sensors and I would have my mechanic replace the old ones to see if that will stop the light. The sensors were sent and took 2 weeks to get to me, I called and called, finally after the second week Lee tells me that "they were sent, i don't know what happened, I'll overnight you some", low and behold they come two days later, which leads me to believe he never sent the original ones. Problem is by the time I get them, later that week, the transmission breaks down AGAIN, in ALLENTOWN !!! So I beyond pissed at this point, call the company about 20 times, no answer, leave several messages, no call back or email. I finally get a hold of Lee, and it is funny how he recognized my number before he answered the phone! (Screening my calls and not answering all the other times ?!?!). I made this call on March 22, first he says that it has to be cleared through the warranty department, I also ask am I going to be reimbursed for any labor as stated in the warranty (each trip is costing!) He assured me that all this would be covered. A week goes by, I start calling back, no answer, I leave "Urgent" messages, no reply. I finally catch up with him one day, "oh, the warranty department is still working on this..." Another week goes by, no update, I call over and over again, no answer!!! Finally connect with him, "oh, they approved and sent out, should be there by next Tues..." I asked him why wasn't I at least called to be made aware of this, got no answer to the question. I asked for a name of the shipping company and tracking information, "I'll get that from the shipping department and email it to you" (NO EMAIL, NO NOTHING!!!). Tuesday comes, no delivery! Wed, Thurs, NOTHING! I call on Friday, "The tracking shows that a delivery was attempted @ 5:30PM on Wed. Called my mechanic and he is in the shop until 6-7pm EVERY NIGHT !!! Lee says he'll check on it. I start to call him daily, never get an answer or return call. The initial reason I called so much was because he never called to let me know that the unit was being delivered, so how was I to know what to tell my mechanic in terms of expecting the unit ?!?!
Another week goes by of me calling, finally get him "Uh, Mr Hall, I don't know what's going on, I'm getting my shipping manager involved, I've been calling and calling the shipping company to ask what the Hell is going on !!!" (more BS). I was supposed to get a call from the shipping manager, of course, no reply. Call them again, multiple times, finally get Lee "We don't know what happened to the unit, the shipping company cannot locate it!" (REALLY ?!?!) "We will ship out another unit..." (I have NEVER known a company to loose something that big and not seemed to be concerned in the least bit). So here it is, May 2, 3+ months later and my truck has been sitting for about 2 out of the 3 months !!!
My reason for going with this company, I did some research on line and they seemed legit. I was charged $1,500 for the tranmission with a 3 year / unlimited mile warranty. Jasper's is a known company that I had knowledge of and was referred to, but at the time it was $2,400 for the unit alone, not including the labor, so I thought I was getting a good deal! This is costing more dealing with this BS, than Jasper would have !!! All I want is what was promised to me, a WORKING transmission and the backing promised if defective, so far I have received NOTHING! I paid $1,500 to ride around for a month ! My vehicle is VERY important because of how far from home I work. I call this place day after day and leave hundreds of messages, I even recently called so much in one day that their system blocked my number, how do I know this ??? Cause Lee called me back to tell me this (I was at work and didn't see the call !!!), he claims the system had to reset to allow my number through! Which it has cause I'm calling again! I swear, if I was able to get to this place, I would go to the place and do things that would probably earn me at least a night or two in jail !!! I am really searching for answers ... That is why I'm sending this to you, for suggestions ... I know it's far away and probably not something that you get involved with, but assistance with a starting point would be GREATLY appreciated. I had planned to contact my bank to report this as a fraud purchase, maybe start there. Is there someone I can contact, news wise in that area of TX ? (attaching the company website). I'm wondering if it would be at all worth taking them to court?
I have a family and live in Morrisville, PA, I have a teenager in Pennsbury and a young son in Makefield Elementry School. I work 2 jobs and my fiancee works 2 as well, all in all we maintain, but I'm sure you can understand that working two jobs is not by choice so every dollar counts and hurts when you get scammed like this, and scammed is what I believe is occuring. Right now if I just got a working unit and all of my labor covered, I'd be alot better. This has been a nightmare and very frustrating on me and my family!

Transmission defective
Transmission ordered on 3/13/2013 and was delivered 4/05/2013. The transmission was installed by Nationwide's approved mechanic. The mechanic installed upon recieving the parts. The vehicle ran well until 4/08/2013 when it no longer would shift into gears. It has been 6 weeks now and Nationwide has not sent a replacement transmission to the mechanic. They have only returned my calls twice in that span. I have spent $1290 on a remanufactured transmission with a noted 3 year warranty but the part no longer functions. I feel they are purposely avoiding me and the mechanic's calls. I feel they should warrant the transmission quickly and pay the labor associated with the removal and installation of a new transmission.
DO NOT BUY FROM NATIONWIDE REMAN.

Nationwide Reman
Well, funny thing about nationwide, they overnight changed their location. Two days ago, their "location" was an Austin PO Box, now it's a Dallas PO Box. Talk about ripoff artists!!!!!!!
They dont return calls or emails and like the guy at the top of this page, I'd also like to go over and beat some heads in, but, who the hell knows where they truly are!!!!!
Pass the word along.
NEVER EVER buy from these gypsies!
