NCE is a discount card at best. Complete scam

They sell you a "Health insurance" plan with no deductibles and great benefits. Actually go to the a hospital or a doctor and a few weeks later you get an explanation of "Benefits" that shows that they got you a slight 10-20% discount and you are responsible for the rest.

HINT: If you tell a doctor that you are paying out of pocket you can actually negotiate a much better deal on your own. I have done this several times and my "cash" rate is much lower than NCE. Lab tests are cheap too. Just google lab tests and you'll find companies that do most of them for $29 per test.

Customer service is a joke. They try to defend their non-insurance but quoting all kinds of lies. I have run over 100 lab tests on myself out of pocket and they are telling me they are cheaper. Please stop lying. Where is the NY attorney general. Someone needs to shut them down.
