Good Luck You'll Need It!!!
After having a delivery problem with Non Stop Delivery (they came at the wrong time with the wrong item), I looked at the 99 negative reviews lodged against the company on the BBB website. The complaints were similar to each other and just about all of them were very detailed and very lengthy…written by very frustrated people. There were 2 positive reviews and 99 horrible reviews. And somehow the BBB gives this company an A- rating. How does that math work?
My complaint is similar, and I am frustrated. The pattern of behavior with “customer service” matches many of the other complaints.
I bought a dining table and chairs from JC Penney to be shipped to my son in Indiana. I was told (by the delivery service terminal) that the window of time for delivery would be [7/20/2018] from 2:00pm to 6pm. Taking time off from work is strongly frowned upon where my son works. This 2-6pm window was supposed to help with the “no time off” situation. Today, 7/20, my son received a call from the delivery truck at 10:50 AM saying they would be there in 1.5 hours. My son was there to meet the driver and they told him that they had delivered the wrong item and that he would have to get another delivery time.
I called Non Stop Delivery (NSD). After waiting on hold for 15 minutes, I spoke with the customer service gal for an additional 20 minutes. The bottom line is that this company doesn’t want to be responsible for the mistakes they make. She told me to call back in an hour. She even gave me her extension number. I did call her back and guess what? I have called three times now…the first time I was disconnected from her extension, the second and third times I got her voice mail. I left my phone number and asked for a call back. I don’t really expect her to call back sad to say.
Their website says that they deliver from 8am to 8pm from Monday through Saturday…but the customer service gal said they don’t deliver in the evening and not on Saturday. When I text-chatted with the customer service gal on their website and asked about this information she replied that delivery hours depends on which location.
It is my experience that when companies have this kind of consistently irresponsible track record, that the employees are probably paid very little for their work…mainly so that the owners can make as much profit as possible. The owners have little to no ethics. Shame on JC Penney for using a company with such a totally horrible record and shame on NSD for failing to care anything about the people they supposedly serve.
