Hard to deal with bank

Recently my father passed away, and I needed to close his bank account. I came to the bank and presented the death certificate. They said that we are not able to take the in or out. However, we were able to take the money later, but they said that we must pay for the overdrafts on this so called “closed account”. They were not human enough to have just let us take the money from the account and just close it. They had to make us more problems than we already had.
