stretched leather seating
In April 2016 I took delivery custom ordered Northwood Leather Loveseats byPalliser. Gorgeous for the first few weeks and then I noticed the seats where we sat were wrinkling badly. It was obvious as I sat on one end of one loveseat and my 100 year old mother sat on the opposite end of the other loveseat. You can compare new to used. I'm 154 lbs and 5'8 and she is 5'3 and 140lbs. God knows what would happened anyone heavier sat on these. Notified retailer in August who didn't come out but said they would order new cushions and a local contract person would replace them. Well it took until October for the order to be filled and the subcontractor phoned to say he had them and would take 5 hours each to replace. I said are you taking them. He said no will do in your livingroom as I would have to hire a truck and take them somewhere (he it seems is a mobile contractor with a large motorhome type of operation). Finally the week before Christmas he and I managed to get time for one. He is said after Christmas for the other one and I agreed. Then he informed me that he might be not able to come back until Feb due to medical testing. I understood this, but I now have two more cushions stored on my patio and believe it or not the new cushions are no help and the leather seems be even more stretched! I'm soooooooo unhappy. I searched for this particular style due to back problems and the support the one in the store offered. I can't imagine what replacing the other ones will do as this first loveseat is still a disaster. I would love to be able to actually talk to Palliser instead of all this run around. It' s coming up a year and there is no satisfaction. The elastic webbing underneath looks like there is a row of banding missing, but no way to know why or if this is the problem. horizontally side to side it seems as I recall 3 or 4 basketweaves then a missing band (space) and then banding again.

Palliser Dillon Fabric terrible quality
Recently purchased the Kelowna sectional in Dillon black fabric. Was told it is their most durable and was better than the leather. Got it home and first day noticed how horrible it is. Every time you touch it it looks like it has grease stains. I literally have to walk behind people that sit and touch the couch and have to buffer out the greasy looking spots with a damp cloth. Also i have noticed that a whit hard glue like substance seems to be coming out of fabric and it does not wipe off! Of course I haven't been offered any solution from palliser only to talk to my retailer where I got it. I know that the retailer will have to incur the costs and all that will be done will be palliser possibly recovering but in the same GARBAGE fabric. Do Not Buy anything in this crap Dillon fabric!
