auction scam
Beware of this company, this is a scam! I bought an account but I can't take part in auctions with no reason! Later, when I wrote to their customer support service, nobody helped me, they refused me in a refund and my account was stolen.
I think they just stole my account because didn't want to pay me a refund, because nobody else knew my account details.

Account does not work.
After I sent the payment for buying an account from them it started working really bad. I couldn’t access the applications or anything. I have paid in total $600 for it, and now I can’t do anything. I can’t eve contact the seller to find out what happened.

these guys are a scam
These guys make you send all kinds of documents and still they don't verify your payment. They are real scammers. I sent them the proof of address and the ID copy. These guys keep feeding me with "tomorrows", "in two days time" etc. Beware!

Did not get paid
I have never received my money after I sold a game account to this company. The buyer told me that he is satisfied, but it has been two months and I can’t get an answer from him, when he is planning on paying me?!

SCAMS!
I had to hire an attorney because of these scums. They denied my claim for a credit, however, they are actually frauds, who steal your money if you let them have your bank account information.
Do not apply! Stay away from them!

Account Taken Back By Original Owner
Hello
I purchased an account through Playerauctions.com on January 31, 2009 for an 80 Wizard. I have been a Loyal customer to this company for many years now for buying game currency and accounts. In the nearly 4 years that I have had the account I have invested a lot of time and money into the account by paying my monthly subscriptions and buying all of the expansions when they came out. I leveled the 80 Wizard to 85 and added a few hundred Alternate Advancement points and equipped him, but not a lot of work on him over the years. My pride was the 96 Berserker that I created on the account. The Berserker had over 4000 Alternate Advancement points and was fully geared with a mix of group gear and raid gear. There was also a level 80 Paladin that was a Bazaar trader and had over 2 million in Platinum (in-game currency) and items that were up for sale. A couple fridays ago I tried to log into the account and it would not let me log into the account, it only gave me a message that it was incorrect password. I checked my e-mail and found no messages from Sony Online Entertainment stating my password, e-mail, or any account status change. When i logged into the game with another account I noticed that the three characters, on the account in question, had been removed from their respective guilds. This is when I contacted Playerauctions.com for assistance. I was thinking that they could do something about the situation. I had to supply them with screenshots of me not able to get into the game and fill out a 24 question form. I supplied them with said information and they sent me an e-mail asking for more information which I could not supply because they wanted any correspondence that Sony sent me about the account, which there was none. Yesterday I got an e-mail from Playerauctions.com and it stated that they could not get the original owner to contact them after their attempts to contact him. Playerauctions.com then told me that they were going to suspend his playerauctions.com access account (not ban him for fraud) and contact Sony and get the account banned (not recovered to me). The worst part was that they tell me in the e-mail that they would not offer me any sort of reimbursement for the money I spent through their company because I didn't buy a an additional insurance policy when I purchased the account. I feel cheated and ripped off and this whole ordeal makes me sick. I worked so very hard on the account and now it is all gone. I only paid 175.00 for the account originally, but put a lot more into it over the years. I have been a loyal customer to Playerauctions.com for many years and have 100% perfect reputation as a buyer and a seller. Even as soon as the end of last year I spent around 600.00 with their company buying another account and in-game currency. I do not blame Playerauctions.com for the actions of the original owner. I do, however blame Playerauctions.com for not warning their customers that the game accounts that they assist others in selling can be taken back by the original owner if they choose to call Sony, or any of the companies for accounts they sell. All the original owner has to do is call Sony and say that the account has been stolen and Sony will change password access on the account, e-mail address, de-guild characters, clear credit card information, and give the account back to the original owner with no warning or message to the current owner. As I said..I do not blame them for the actions of the original owner, but I do expect them to take care of their customers. They assisted in the fraudulent sale of an account and made money off of that sale. Just as the original owner kept the money I paid for the account that he stole back, Playerauctions.com kept their cut for inserting themselves between the buyer and seller and giving the illusion of a secure transaction. Loyal customers should be treated better than this. Please let this be a warning to all who are thinking of buying from this company. There are risks that they do not tell you about when you use their services. Their entire business model is a lie to the customer as they cannot guarantee anything on accounts and do nothing to warn their customers of truths in account buying and selling. They represented a seller who committed fraud against me and profited from it and will do nothing to satisfy a loyal customer.

Player Auctions does not honor Insurance
I purchased a $300 wow account on playerauctions.com
I had had an account taken back before and was told since I had no insurance they could nothing so this time I purchased $300 worth of insurance on the account referenced in the complaint.
After 10 months, the account was lost. I expect the seller took it back but have no proof. I filed and insurance claim and after 2 weeks player auctions told me that unless I could proof the seller took back the game, they would not give me the insurance credit.
I have no way to proof the seller took it back. I have nothing, no account access or anything else.
Not only did I loose the game, but apparent the $26 I paid for insurance was worthless and just another scam.
Do not buy and do not buy insurance as it is worthless. Avoid there site.

PLAYER AUCTIONS IS A SCAM AND MISLEADING SITE
I purchased an account from there site a while back (around 2 years) and everything went smoothly and it was a beast account but I f-ed up the bank really badly and rage quit runescape. So i decided to sell the account through PA to get back as much as i could from what i was in the hole. I sold it about 5 months after purchasing it originally and the sale went smoothly aswell. BUT, a few months later i had glanced over my emails from the past months because i don't use email as communication and rarely check it.. i had a couple emails from PA asking to provide proof that i didn't reclaim the account i had sold back through the site a couple months earlier.. They suspended my account and i am not aloud to purchase/sell until the amount paid for the account is returned to playerauctions. I understand the precautions taken following the "reclamation", but what i am absolutely sickened by is there completely flawed system and ignorance to the shitty quality of "customer service" they provide. I emailed them in regards to my suspension and i emailed from a different email than registered to my PA account because at the time i didn't remember the password. BUT i included account information and proof so that i could have a review of the investigation and what not. I SENT A VERY LONG EMAIL WITH ANY AND ALL DETAILS AND AFTER 3 DAYS OF CONTACTING ONSITE CHAT REPS I WAS FINALLY TOLD BY A REP THAT I MUST EMAIL FROM MY REGISTERED EMAIL TO HAVE A REVEIW. SO I WAITED 3 F-IN DAYS AND TALKED TO 5-6 DIFFERENT REPS AND EXPLAINED IN DETAIL MY SITUATION AND INCLUDED THE DIFFERENT EMAIL BEING USED TO CONTACT THERE TRUST TEAM FOR NO REASON AT ALL. NOT TO MENTION I WAS TOLD BY 2 OF THE REPS THAT THEY WERE PERSONALLY FOLLOWING UP ON MY CASE WITH THE TRUST TEAM AND WAITING FOR A RESPONSE. I WAS LITERALLY BULLSHITTED AND LIED TO AND TOLD WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR WHEN THEY HAD NO F-ING CLUE WHAT WAS REALLY HAPPONING??!!??! AFTER ANOTHER 3 DAYS I WAS TOLD THAT I MUST PAY PA BACK TO UNSUSPEND MY ACCOUNT SO I ASKED WHO TO CONTACT AND HOW MUCH I OWED ETC ETC.... I SAW THAT IN THE EMAIL SENT TO ME THAT IF I WANTED AN INSTANT RESPONSE I COULD CONTACT CHAT ONSITE TO ASSIST WITH ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THE CASE(AKA ALL THE ANWSERS OF THE QUESTIONS I HAD) AFTER EXPLAINING THIS TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP HE TOLD ME THAT HE CANNOT ACCESS ANY OF THAT AND THAT I MUST FOLLOW UP WITH THE TRUST TEAM TO GET MORE INFORMATION. WHAT THE F-?!??!! ITS ALL A COMPLETE WEB OF BULLSHIT, DELUSION, DECEPTION, ETC. THEY WILL BRING YOU IN AND ACT VERY WELCOMING BUT WHEN YOU ACTUALLY ARE VULNERABLE THEY WILLL BEND YOU OVER AND F- YOU WITH THERE CLEARLY GOOGLE TRANSLATED SENTENCES. I HAVE BEEN DICKED AROUND FOR OVER 2 WEEKS ON SOMETHING THAT WOULD TAKE 5 MINUTES OVER A SIMPLE F-ING CHAT AND I DIDNT EVEN RECLAIM THE ACCOUNT. I DIDNT SEE THE EMAILS THEY SENT UNTIL AFTER THE INVESTIGATION AND THEY RULED I DID RECOVER IT JUST BECAUSE THEY COULDNT CONTACT ME...........WHEN I CALLED THEM OUT ON THERE DELUSIONAL FOREIGN F-IN THINKING ABOUT A "SAFE MARKETPLACE" IT WAS IGNORED AND I WAS GIVEN ANOTHER, "EMAIL ACCOUNT@PA AND THEY WILL ASSIST YOU". THE STUPID F-S DIDNT EVEN CONSIDER THE FACT THAT MAYBE THE PERSON WHO SOLD ME THE F-ING ACCOUNT IN THE FIRST PLACE SAW THAT I RESOLD IT AND KNOWING HE COULDNT BE LINKED TO RECLAMATION HE RECOVERED IT???!!?! CRAZY F-IN IDEA OR WHAT?! AFTER MENTIONING THIS THE REPLY EMAIL WAS "IF YOU BELEIVE THE ORIGINAL OWNER RECOVERED THE ACCOUNT THEN KINDLY ASK THEM TO RETURN IT" ARE YOU F-INGGGG JOKING?!???!?! THIS HAS TO BE 10 F-ING ASIANS USING GOOGLE TRANSLATE AND CREATING SHIT OUT OF THIN AIR. WILL BE GIVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK AND SPREADING THE WORD SO THESE STUPID ZIPPERHEADS DONT GET PAID THERE 80 CENTS AN HOUR

scammed as well on Playerauctions
Just got ripped off on Playerauctions.com for over $400. Bought 7 different items ( currency for World of tanks ). Seller reversed the credit card charges for the currency ( send as a gift to my account ). Shortly after seller received several neg feedback for fraud. Playerauctions took the whole section ( currency ) for World of Tanks back down after about 30 days because you CANT buy currency at any other source other then World of tanks as I found out. nine days later, 5 emails, 4 live help sessions and several tickets, NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE. NOTHING. I have filed now a complaint with the California AG and the FBI and Postal Inspection for Wire Fraud. At the very least Playerauctions is liable for the fraud as they did not do their due diligence in researching or offering protection.
I can only say, STAY AWAY from Playerauctions.com, horrid English and grammar skills, and complete run around and promises of "taking care of this" and "you will hear from us in 2 days...then 1 day...then 3 days...and so on...just a run around. Stay away and if you bought and got scammed lets file a class action suit and contact me.

Another person scammed by Players
Yup another person scamed when you purchase an account using Players Action and also purchase the insurance you will be guarded against OO reclaim. Well purchased an account in March was recalled back to the original owner September. Players wants proof the account was claimed by the OO and that impossible so no reimbursement. Best best you want to buy an account deal directly and bypass this crap service entirely. Why pay for inflated account adding insurance and get nothing in the end.
