Be very careful in checking out Q Link online!

In checking out the Q Link phones for information on the government free phones offered it was necessary to furnish some of my information. I already had a SafeLink account but was checking on different types of phones offered. I did not apply and yet I received a phone from Q Link in the mail. I then placed several calls and was adamantly assured that I would not have an account with them. But now my SafeLink account has been closed, the 600+ minutes lost all because of a company that has absolutely no qualms about flat out lying to someone and costing them not just all the frustration, anger, rage and true disappointment but now the loss of my SafeLink account ( I had called them as well and they too assured me that everything was fine and that my account was safe) and now over 600 minutes are lost! I am being told there is nothing either companies can do and I can reapply with SafeLink next November.
