Q link
I canceled my account with the QLink Lifeline service. They said the phone would be turned off within 3 days. Well its been over a month and the phone is still turned on. I tried contacting Qlink customer service but there now is no way to . Before on my phone all i had to do was call 611 and it would. Now all it says is in an automated voice your account has been canceled and gives the options of other automated responses only.. It will not let me talk to a live person. So i emailed them and told them my phone was still on and to turn it off and that i couldnt contact them through my phone. They replied , please call us and we will try to help you. How can my phone be still on when i canceled my account? There is no way to talk to customer service unless you have an account. I guess they are going to continue to get paid for a phone that im not using. Thats fraud through the govt.

Highly Suspicious
I have been trying to apply for their free smart phone plan for several months. They wanted my ss# which I was reluctant to enter in an online form. I tried to contact them several times via email and telephone but to no avail. Their site said the service WAS AVAILABLE in my area. So, I finally made the big mistake of giving them my ss#. As soon as I did that it said "service is UNAVAILABLE in your area" ? Why the about face once they had my ss#? So I sent them an email asking that very question. Their reply was "there is no cell phone service in your area". BS! There is cell phone service in this area and has been for years. Now I have to pay for credit protection because these rip offs have my ss#. Steer clear of these rip off foreigners posing as a government program.
