POOR SERVICE for eligible citizens
A friend of mine who is both physically and mentally challenged has the Qlink wireless phone that my hard earned tax dollars helps pay for. What bothers me is that when originally service was taken out, asked for a SIMPLE BASIC phone....they sent a smart phone. Go figure, my $$ are supplying these phones (smart phones)....Yet, I have to go out and purchase one for myself....something wrong with this picture. What is wrong with just a basic phone with no frills? Especially when your receiving it for free.
The so called simple phone that replaced the smart phone is a flip phone, but seeing that the phone they chose to send as a replacement will auto dial 911 if one doesn't quickly dial the 7 digit number. I have had more than my share of EMS personnel at my home. I contacted Qlink to inquire about this phone, as when they send one a phone, there are no instructions included. I asked WHY is this phone dialing 911 when 911 was not the numbers pressed......their reply.....that is a automatic feature with this phone. What ! These phones are useless for challenged individuals....I told Qlink to sed a phone that does not auto dial EMS. Oh sure, if I pay $25.00 seeing they did a "courtesy" swap to begin with. What in the world is wrong with these idiots, when one informs them up front who and such will be using the phone. I informed them, that if anymore 911 calls happen and I get billed or whatever, that I will take the bill back to EMS and inform them to bill Qlink for extremly poor service to the challenged community. I really wonder how many people in the USA that are challenged have been given this phone and 911 showing up. Maybe is all EMS providers would contact Qlink and complain and bill them outright for bogus calls, Qlink might get the message.
I have emailed...didn't get, faxed.......no response from them. Next resort...I will contact FCC and file a formal complaint, possibly contact news media outlets and legal avenues.
The customer service lacks tremendously. I would not recommend this company to anyone.............so if your considering this company..............RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN.

Qlink=Phishing
I think Qlink just collected all my info and ran with it they leave you believing they just need a little more proof and so you keep sending them confidential information and then never hear back

HORRIBLE
This place is a JOKE. Customer service is HORRIBLE, no one seems to know what they are doing. My service got cut off and I spent an entire week trying to get someone to tell me why my documents were denied. They insist that the document I sent in for my son's Medicaid is "expired". I sent them the most current award letter as well as the front and back of his insurance card and when I finally got a supervisor he told me that my income was over the limit. The agent "Oswaldo" tried everything he could to keep me from talking to a supervisor, he was nothing but a smart alek and they all talk fast and talk over you and don't want to listen. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE CRAP HOLE COMPANY.
