High pressure, rude salesman wasted 2 hours of our time
I like my Rain soft system but the company in DE are rude and they to bully you into service and filter replacements when they are not needed. I have been lied to by the owner and talked down and even told not to post anything bad about the company or else. I do like the over priced system and it does work. I just don't like the company and their rudeness . $85 to come check to see if my system is still operating fine each year is too much. this doesn't include the filters they try to sell you. make sure if they come out that they don't install filters where they are not needed. I wasn't sure why if I had a whole house filter why I needed on on my sink and ice maker. check the top ten water softeners and filters Rainsoft is not one of them and the top system is about $1400.00 according to the web since and consumer reports compared to 6k for rain soft

NEED TO KNOW
I don't care what you say about this co. I have had excellent service from them for over 20 years. A real person answers the phone instead of voice prompts. This co still treats their customers the old fashion way and they actually do care about my satisfaction. I'm happy

Predatory and unethical sales techniques!
The system does everything Rainsoft says it will do. If comes with a lifetime warranty.The cleaning products are great and make the system affordable and as for having to make a decision on the spot, if someone is going to give you multiple gifts as a thank you for getting your business today and it saves you a tremendous amount of money, thats a bad thing? People, get over yourselves for blaming the salesman who TWISTED YOUR ARM. Your all grownups with minds of your own

Multiple "gifts" to thank you?!?!?!?! Get real. Like I said before, they are charging you $6k for a $3k system and you think those extra bars of soap and jugs of detergents are free or a "gift" and "saves you a tremendous amount of money"? Based off your reply, I would have to think that you have been drinking the detergents they have given you as a "gift". The point is they have horrible customer service, charge double for similar systems with like warranties, and they do this like snakes slithering from house to house to try to nab their next victim. STAY AWAY FROM RAINSOFT!

Rainsoft / Home Depot
Home Depot has partnered up with a company in Dayton Ohio Miami Valley Rainsoft to set up a scam contest inside the Home Depot stores in Dayton and Cincinnati to get your phone number to get around the do not call list. Miami valley Rainsoft will call you to confirm your entry in the contest, which the owner or someone in his family will win. After the call you and “confirm” your entry then proceed to pressure you into a “free” water test, and if you agree they come out and try to scare you into buy a $5000 dollar water treatment system. Home Depot should be ashamed of themselves for scamming and scaring their customers.

INSTALLED POOR QUALITY WATER SOFTENING
DON’T USE THEIR SERVICES! THEY HAVE INSTALLED A POOR QUALITY WATER SOFTENING SYSTEM AT OUR HOUSE! AND TOOK A FEW THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR IT!
