insurance claim on ak bank card
I took credit card loan of 65, 000 dhs from RAK bank for repaying in 48 installments. Already I have paid 39 installments with credit shield. The paid value as credit shield is over 12000 Dhs. Now suddenly bank has cancelled the credit shield facility without my request & I am going to loose over 12, 000 Dhs and the credit protection.
Can I take any legal action for this ? Can I request the bank to repay the paid money as credit shield ? Anybody knows the proper action to take against the bank ?

RAKBANK COLLECTIONS DEPARTMENT real thugs and should be reported to the authorities
This is a complaint against the gang of mentally sick psychopaths so called RAKBANK collections department who think that they can commit felonies such as slandering and threatening with no grounds or reason and with full intent to harm innocent people.
I received a call today from a person who identified himself as charith kanishka +971566728711 informing me of ONE over due payment on my credit card as I am out of the country since apr 20th i delegated someone to do the payment in my behalf but unfortunately he forgot to do; I confirmed that I will settle this today either through asking relative of mine to pay directly in a CDM to assure that's it's reflected ASAP "which she did in less than 1hr of me receiving that call" or by myself first thing in the morning as I am arriving tonight..
He complained to me that they tried to call my mobile several times with no response I told him that my blackberry connection wasn't working where i was until today and that all calls were and still are forwarded to my office number which is attended by a voice mail service that I keep track of and I never got anything from them. He confirmed that he called but never left a message.
I took his details and told him that he will be informed the min the payment is done and he said that he will follow up tomorrow.
Less than 30 minutes later my mother called me to inform me that someone who refused to leave his name or details other than that he is calling on behalf of RAK BANK " with an arab Egyptian accent" has called my family saying that he is calling from RAK BANK demanding that he speaks to me where he then viciously accused my father of hiding me because my father told him that I am not available at my parents house in my home country to attend that call! And then he told my father that I better pay or he would "hunt" me down!! My father collapsed and my mother tried to understand the issue. Where that person had the audacity to lie to her and tell her that I have missed TWO payments OF MANY and that I either "show my face" to the bank and pay or he will "drag" me to court and "scandalize" me in public in both UAE and In my home country!
Appalled by what I heard I called the person who contacted me earlier -Name listed above -where he denied calling my family and insisted that he added my commitment to pay to my account comments and that this callshouldn'tt have been done and denied any relation to that call or the caller...I asked him to provide me his managers details he refused and even went to the point of denying that there are any Egyptians in his team that could have made that call!
As a result of the bank's thug criminal behavior my father has been hospitalized with a minor heart attack!
I'd hate to think or believe that a reputable bank like your bank " winner of several customer satisfaction awards" would tolerate or consider any action by those hooligans as justified as long as it gets it's money.
I strongly believe that such sick minded people who enjoy terrorizing people and their clear disregard of any law or regulation should be held accountable for their actions, and no matter how little my trust in this bank's regulations and procedures against such people has become after this traumatizing incident I decided to write this long complaint hoping it won't fall on to deaf ears.
Where first thing I will do upon my return is to raise an official compliant to the police with whatever little information I have about that "person" who did this in behalf of your bank which somehow now i regretfully feel that my case wont be the first one raised against that so called "department" whom its gang believe that they are safe from punishment or legal prosecution no matter how criminal their actions might be as long as they get the bank it's money.

how to contact rakbank representative
im in saudi and i want to pay my credit card (rakbank base in abu dhabi) i also wish rakbank to send me billing statement on internet for me to track my due and billings.same as other i was terminated due to crisis on that region. hoping to settle this to avoid inconvenience. thanks

I am having a RAK Bank credit card, On last Oct the card was stolen by a Tunisian, we did not had any idea on this till the bank call us for the confirmation of the transactions for 56,000AED in three days(i.e) 27th - 29th Oct 2013. In this three days there was more than 25, 000 AED utilized everyday but there was no single Intimation from the bank, not even an SMS. Whereas in other bank credit card even when we purchase for 100AED there is SMS facility to intimate us. The person who have stolen our card has been caught. This situation can be overcome by Insurance but very cleverly the bank informed us to after 24 hours of the maximum utilization of the card(credit limit 56000) to make the card holder to be responsible to bear the cost whereas 24 hrs transaction can be covered under Insurance if there is notice in any default. It seems to be he have purchased more than 80% of the money like Mobiles, IPAD etc. We gone to the mobile outlets we checked all the Receipts it was not the same signature which was behind the card, As well it was even not the same name given for Invoicing. More over the card name was an Indian how can it be acceptable to a Tunisian who use the card for purchase, there is no security for our money. But this bank says the clever reply as The signature & name are just only for Receipt purpose these are not required to be the same as card holder mentioned. In this three days transactions happened for every twenty min & half an hour for 3000 & 4000 AED but the bank did not have any single doubt & not even bothered to check with the card holder, purely there is no Intention to have favor on the card holder. Meanwhile if the transaction exceeds more than 10, 000AED the vendor must check the ID card even they fail to do this. Having so many things even after the accuse was caught the bank still have send a notice to us in order to claim their dues. Where there is customer service here?. It’s not safe to be a part of RAK Bank even if the bank does not have this basic Courtesy. So Other card holders please be aware of all this Demerits of RAK Bank. Even they want to make money with the basic facilities which other banks provide free of cost for their Innocent customer.
The accuse got judgment as jail term and depot from this country where I cannot recover my money from him. Every day from the bank I get calls to pay off this money with Interest.
Dear friends fight for my justice … I wish bank should waive of this amount
