Reagan canceled and closed my email
I have been using reagan.com as my primary email for at least 10 years and without warning, they deleted my account and erased all of my current & archived emails and contacts citing it was due to non-payment. I have always been on top of my email without any issues since it was my primary email. And if I did go over my billing date for whatever reason, my account information was never closed or lost due to non-payment. When I contacted them back in Dec. 2019 regarding issues with my email, I was told it was refreshed and to sign on using a temporary password assigned by their tech support. I did that but I noticed that emails that were dated 12/24 were now gone and my available emails had gone back to 12/14. I contacted tech support again and I was told my account had been closed due to non-payment and I would have to purchase my email but any emails saved (current & archived) were gone per tech support. This is a total injustice when I have missed paying my account by a few days in the past and once I paid my yearly subscription I was allowed to keep any and all emails while my email was on-hold. I have ten years of archived emails saved in that account since it was my primary account and now it's all gone. I contacted tech support in one last attempt to regain my email along with its contents and was told to contact LIVE CHAT. I was able to get ahold of them but the chat conveniently dropped and I have not been able to get in touch with them again. It was an okay email to have, and use, especially since it had President Reagan's name attached to it but in my honest opinion, it is not worth the annual payment of $40 since you still have to deal with spam even though they promise you otherwise. I would not purchase another email account as long as you can get emails free and especially if they are not going to protect your data and will literally destroy ten years of archived emails for a few days of non-payment without any sort of reminder.
