SCAMMMERS
It is NOT a scam. I see it working for small business owners all over the country. The proof is in the pudding. You are probably just an SEO consultant yourself trying to scare off customers from YOUR competition. Sad attempt.

SCAMMMERS
I worked for them when they operated as Reliable Listings. "Scam" could be too strong a word. "Ripoff" maybe. The problem was they just didn't do what they claimed they would do and then continued to charge clients and making it nearly impossible to block the charges on their credit cards. I sold the service while working out of a "boiler room", a telemarketing operation with dozens of us talking on the phone all day as the "robo dialer" kept feeding us small business owners culled from various list services.
Too bad really. What they say they can do isn't rocket science and could be a huge benefit to small businesses. But talking the talk without walking it, is just wrong. So I quit.

Harrassment
THEY HAVE CALLED MY OFFICE NON-STOP GIVING ME A LINE OF CRAP! WHEN I ASKED THE TOUGH QUESTIONS, "TRAVIS" COULD NOT ANSWER THEN! THEY COME UP ON CALLER ID AS "UNKNOWN" AND FROM THE NUMBER 915-996-2895 WHICH HE SAID WAS NOT THEIR NUMBER. IF THEY WERE A "REPUTABLE" COMPANY, THEY WOULD NOT BEH HIDING BEHIND THE UNKNOWN STATUS AND FAKE NUMBER!!!
SCAMMERS IS THE CORRECT TERM FOR THESE STUPID PEOPLE54210!!

Scammers .. dittto that!
Reliable Places owned and managed by 29'Prime is a ripoff on several levels. (Formerly known as Reliable Listings.)
The Ripoff:
*First They call themselves "Google Contractors," which is meaningless, unless Google is partnered with them. A deception to those not smart enough to know this affiliation is not with Google, but simply using Google like anyone else can.
*Second, It realizes the customer has no knowledge of computers, and isn't savvy enough to look for a small web designer with basic SEO skills to do the job for them! Pretty insulting, since most programmers in the USA will do the SAME job, and be grateful to earn 10% of what they charge per year! Here, the product for sale is SEO--search engine optimization-- for your website or any company. That means they will get you ranked on the first page of google in ten keyword categories. While this sounds wonderful, you can do it yourself (I will explain below.)
The Scam:
1) If you do call center work with this company you get paid on a commission only... no wages. This means you need to sell to make money. People work weeks without pay! Some, have worked months--zero pay! I tried this job, and despite being a top performer elsewhere it didn't match my expectations!
2) If you are the customer, they hook you in for really minor stuff, and charge charge between $99 a month ($1200 year) to $200+ a month ( about $2400 a year.) Really, the monthly fee is ridiculous, since the fee is for a one time job. recurring fees hardly make any sense
If you want to do this yourself:
*List your Business with it address in Google Local; to do this: Become Google Verified
*Find Ten Keyword that define your Business Industry (EXAMPLE for BOB's Grocery, you may need to add the following keywords: Grocery Store, Food, Convenience Store, Liquor Store, Fresh Foods, Fresh Fruits, Veggies, Meat, Calling Cards )
*Add these to your business listing, and your business will AUTOMATICALLY go to page one.
*Next, If you happen to have a website, add a sentence to your web page with these words in it within Meta tags.
*Thereafter, make a youtube video; and then setup free linked-in, Aboutus, facebook and twitter accounts for your business.
Congrats, you just saved $2500 a year, and got your local business listed locally!!!
Voila!
Now, if you don't understand, or don't want to do it, get a web designer to help you. You can find them on Craigslist, but many are scammers too. Generally, a good web designers is skilled at making websites from scratch. SEO is typically included for free by most programmers I know.
If you are looking for a cheap and savvy web designer contact me, and I can hook you up with reliable cheap Computer Engineers that make awesome web-sites on the side. (Aren't I cool?)

Scammers
Be aware,
This company wants your credit card number. They give you all kind of promises at the begining.
They were going to list my business 250 categories, google front page etc.
You will be calling them every week. Same story. If you get stuck with them just cancel the account right away. Don't wait too long. They suck up your money as long as you give them time. Basically stay away if any one call you and ask to update your google info or promise to list you on front page.

RELIABLEPLACES SCAMMER
These guys are a scam! They call claiming to be google and ask you to press 1 to upgrade your listing! This is HIGHLY ILLEGAL!
Next they don't pay their employee's! This has been Russell Wallaces scam for years! I worked with them when they were Reliable Listings years ago and we were being told that everyone makes at least 2k a month selling a the best advertising service on the net... well who wouldn't want that?! They weren't paying anyone, and going through 2-10 people a week! I even found out that he did this with home mortgages before that market collapsed and he was kicked out of that county! Even the receptionist and customer service people were being scammed into being 1099 employees!!
They have MANY names now, and are starting a multi level marketing type thing hoping to have each new person start a new company name so they won't have to pay employees, and so that all of the bad press for the horrible services get pinned on the poor saps selling the services ruining their good names and reputations whilst not hurting the names of the true scammers like Russ!
So far there are over a dozen reseller names. You can see the list I have going at
http://beware29prime.wordpress.com
Good luck everyone and don't let the scam hurt anyone else!
