Weekly Benefit Payment
I have worked 20 years and never once been on unemployment. The last two years I have been taking temp jobs. I was laid off end of Dec. 2012. I was approved from unemployment and sent my W-2's into Lima, OH processing center. Two days ago, after being paid for January 2012 and February 2012, I have to pay back 2, 920.00. I spoke to Kim (877-644-6562) on Thursday to clarify. She said it was because of (company01) appeal statement and unemployment sided with them. But she cold not tell me over the phone what they said. So she told me to put in writing a request to obtain that appeal to Lima, Processing Center. I faxed it to 419-996-3929. I called back today (03/02/2012) and spoke to Jeneva at 11:03 a.m. at 1-877-644-6562. She said I should be getting my unemployment and said "it looks like a system error." She said I need to talk to Lima's office. She transferred my call and I spoke to Teresa at 419-996-3979 using option #6. She said that company 02 went into the system and change my work dates in January 2012 (after my payments have started). Teresa also stated she never received my faxed W-2 for proof of work in the first week of January form my two jobs in 2011. I also faxed a request for obtaining my docs from the employer's statements. She said she never got that either. This was faxed on 03/02/2012. Teresa also stated that if a company goes into the unemployment claim, "the companies dates or changes override the unemployment office's data entry." This call was around 11:1-11:30 today. Can someone tell me why I am getting three different stories and why I have to pay money back that was determined my the unemployment office??? My claim is 224104269 and my phone is 330-630-2240. Any help would be appreciated and I would be open to seek a legal counsel over this mess.
