Stealing items from shipment

We used relogulf to transport our furniture and belongings from Dubai to Australia. They packed our stuff and promised a transit time of 6 weeks plus 10 days in Australian customs. That was OVER 4 months ago. Our container has since landed in Australia and been cleared by customs and is now waiting for Relogulf to sign the "Terms of Release" along with payment!!
They wouldn't even pack our stuff up in Dubai without our payment so we are now wondering why there has been no payment made to Australia on their behalf for our container to be released.
We too have been trying to contact people in Relogulf and keep getting responses such as the manager, Neil Price, is on the phone or in a meeting. Even though we ask for our calls to be returned URGENTLY we get no return phone calls.
I am now 6 months pregnant and sleeping on an air mattress and sitting on a beanbag in my lounge room as we have NO FURNITURE to place in our house!!
We are now looking at contacting the Department of Foreign Trades and Affairs well as the Australian Embassy in Dubai as this matter has now gone well beyond a joke!!

Relogulf is a scam of a company

I Used Relogulf to ship my stuff to Brisbane... What a HUGE mistake that was. They Actually sent my container to Sydney!!! its now been 5 months and I still dont have my stuff. Relogulf has not paid their Australian partners "Australian Vanlines" which based in Auburn. I have paid for GST, customes clearance and everything else but Australian Vanlines is refusing to release my container as they have not been paid yet by Relogul. They are ALL scumbag companies with a bunch of liars and running them. Phil Davies of Relogulf has got it coming to him. Australian Vanlines is equally as F***ed up and careless. My question is, how are they allowed to hold peoples containers in storage because THEY have not been paid by THEIR business partners???? How the F**K does this concern me? I never asked or signed an agreement with AUSTRALIAN VANLINES to ship my goods. If they agreed to clear my container and deliver it to me with their Business partners Relogulf, then thats EXACTLY what they should do. It should not concern me they are not getting paid by RELOGULF. If anyone wants to take legal action against these companies please count me in.

Relogulf, the immoral company

I paid in full a sum of $---- for the shipment of my household goods from Dubai to Sydney Australia. My shipment was picked up in July 2012 and i received notification of it's arrival in Australia in September 2012. I was advised that it would take a further 10-15 days to clear Quarantine and Customs then Hellas Europe took delivery of my shipment and stored it in their warehouse. It has now been 8 months since Hellas Europe took delivery of my shipment and they refuse to release it to me due to a cash flow problem that they have with their trading partner Relogulf in Dubai. I have corresponded with both company's to try and find a solution so that this matter could be put to rest but i keep getting the run around. I have even offered to pay what ever money they claim to be owed but i still have had no response. I am beginning to feel that my shipment is being held as some sort of bargaining chip for outstanding accounts due to the value of the contents. I need to know where i stand as i can not believe a company can continue to hold onto a shipment that does not belonging to them.
Neil Price of Relogulf is a Immoral business man who can not be trusted, his words mean nothing coming through his lying teeth.
Do not believe anything he tells you.

I have been incontact with a lawyer in Dubai to commence legal action against this company as i do not intend to continue to sleep on an air forever.

Relogulf - DO NOT USE THEM

Our belongings were picked up May 27, 2013 in Dubai for home delivery to the USA. Door to door services were paid in full to Relogulf before the belongings were collected. It is now the end of August 2013. Relogulf has not made any payment to the Destination Agent. Our belongings are stuck in Customs accruing daily storage fees because the proper paperwork and payment were not sent and therefore the container can not be released. The container was also sent to the wrong port. Relogulf will not work towards resolving this issue, will not pay, will not honor their contract. I have sent daily emails and filed complaints within country all to no avail. This is an incredible mess. Most of our belongings are irreplaceable, sentimental items. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will take your money and you will never see your belongings again.

ReloGULF Horror Story -- Ditto "Do Not Use Them" --

The poster, Relogulf - Do Not Use Them, appears to be one of the 8 consignees whose container is being held hostage in Norfolk, Va., because ReloGulf refuses, for some bizarre reason, to surrender the Bill of Lading to enable our destination agent to take possession of the container, which now needs to be sent to N. J. because ReloGulf sent it to the wrong port. Amazing. I concur with what the poster said about "do not use them." We hope that if you are reading this, you are not a victim like we are but that you are doing your due diligence on ReloGulf.

Phil Davis, owner of ReloGulf, is on Linkedin. You can see that he belongs to groups that HR people typically join for the purpose of scouting expat services, including international moving. I joined the group and wrote about my experience with ReloGulf with the hope of making HR members aware of ReloGulf and how it has treated expatriates.

Violated by ReloGulf

I previously lived and worked in the UAE for approximately 16 years.
Upon deciding to return back to Canada, I made use of a shipping company, ReloGulf to relocate my belongings on my behalf.

On 11 April 2013 representatives of ReloGulf arrived at my home in Dubai and packed, secured and removed my belongings to get it ready for the trip abroad.

At that exact stage I was tasked to assist in Qatar for a few months and subsequently requested ReloGulf to retain my Canada shipment for a few months and then just before I was to leave Qatar they would ship it so that I will be present in Canada to receive it. This was agreed upon and welcomed by them, as it gave them time to "fill the container" until such time as I finished up in Qatar. With some difficulty I eventually made contact with ReloGulf and shared my travel plans with them. (They don’t seem to want to answer their phones, or reply to electronic mails)

I eventualy had contact from Roza Menezes, Kathy Ashbey as well as Phil Davis, they assured me that my goods I would arrive in Canada at approximately the same time. This mail was sent to me by Roza on 29 September 2013:

This was to be the last contact I would have from ANY representative of ReloGulf. I arrived in Toronto on 07 November 2013. I am currently living in a house with minimal furniture, and have wardrobes without any clothes in them as all my furniture and clothing was entrusted to ReloGulf. I feel violated by this company and would like everyone to take note that ReloGulf is obviously not above board in their dealings. I am planning to get legal representation, should any other victims want to join in a class action suit, please contact me on [email protected]
