Hotel Reservations
I just had an experience with reservation desk.com that is very similiar to all of the reports listed here. I believe that the way this company is conducting it business is extremely misleading, and, possibly, fraudulent.
I would encourage anyone who has had these kinds of experiences with this company to go to the large hotels that reservation desk works for and ask for restitution of any overcharges or discerpencies. These requests should be directed at the corporate COO's of these hotel chains (e.g., Marriott, Hilton,etc), Copies should be sent to their corporate counsel in each case along with a statement of intent not to use these chains unless or until they correct this situation with reservation desk.com.
If you are having this experience as a result of your own work-generated travel, please contact your corporate travel/corporate meeting planner and ask that they discontinue using these hotels because of the way reservation desk.com is treating customers.
This is the only way to get the attention of the corporations who pay for and let reservation desk.com represent them.

Booked a room at the Redroof Inn and Suits in Madison, Ga Reservation Desk .com is what came up as the booking website when I clicked on the website for Redroof Inn, not realizing this was third party reservation company.
I did not stay in the hotel due to the lack of cleanliness of the hotel room. Hotel staff informed me to contact Reservation Desk.com since they are the billing company for a refund and they would confirm I didn't stay at the hotel. When I did contact Reservation Desk, Roger employee number 22377 customer service supervisor would not confirm with the hotel that I didn't stay there and refused to refund my money. I asked to speak with his supervisor, Roger refused to connect me to his supervisor stating there was nothing more that could be done.
I called again 5 days later and was able to get a refund from the company after about an hour on the phone with Reservation Desk and the hotel manager on anther phone. I will never use Reservation Desk.com for booking anything ever again and advise you to not use them as well.
