rip off!!!!!!!!!!!
Reservation counter. com is a total rip offf......... Do not make any sort of reservation through them. I thought as many other customers I was speaking directly to the hotel, but found out after I called the hotel to make changes that is was made by Reservation counter.com whom will not allow you to cancel, make changes or give any refunds. I have disputed this charge with my credit card company, but I am being told their is noting they can do. Chase Bank is not working with me either..... I am being forced to pay a 283.00 charge for a hotel stay I never used.....

Scam
My husband booked a one night stay at the Microtel Inn & Suites in Bath, NY. We did not know that reservation counter.com did the reservation. We made an error (by one day) on the date of our arrival. Called back to change it (which the prompts say you can do) got the elevator music never got to speak to someone on the day we made the reservation. Finally got to speak to someone about 5 a.m. the following day. She said that they had to call the hotel and see if they will change it and to call back in a couple of hours because they were unable to talk to the manager. We called back and were told that absolutely we would have to cancel the original reservation and make another one. Double the cost!. We told them to forget it and now we are out $67.02. We will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau - don't know if that will help but its worth a try. Those people need a crash course in ethics.

Please join me in contacting UAG @ Agutah..gov
This is their scam. Say you Google or Bing Silver Legacy Hotel Reservations, Reno, Nevada. Well, for some reason, these guys' deceptive mock-homepage for the hotel comes up, featuring pictures of the hotel, the address of the hotel, and policies of the hotel. Only if you are really looking for it, hidden in a corner, will you see the words Reservation Counter, without an address. There is no reason NOT to think that this must be the name the hotel gives their Reservation Department. Only when I contacted the hotel several weeks later, they had no record of my booking reservation. So, I became worries, since this deceptive apparently third party broker had my $336. So, I tried to cancel and was told by cancelation receipt that my refund would come within 3 to 10 days. Only not a penny came. Well, you cannot contact them on their website, that link has been disabled. If you really have patience, you can finally talk to someone, who told me, that 2 days for refund meant the beginning of the day, 2 days before. So, my 5 am. cancelation on Thurs. morning was 5 hours too late for my 3 pm. Sat. check in cancelation. Now, they already had a non-refundable cancelation charge. so no honest hotel would try to keep the entire $336 too, under these circumstances. But you see, they are not honest, and they are not a hotel. Sorry if you think they are. You were fooled. Well, I contact BBB and find they had 140+ complaints in the last 12 months--even with Covid lockdown, so they are not accredited by BBB. I also added my 1 star review on Yelp--where the average review is, you guessed, 1 star. you cannot give less than 1 star. So, I contacted the Attorney General's office for the state of Utah. you can email them at UAF @ agutah.gov that's if they really are on W. Maple Loopo Dr. in Lehi, Utah as they say. If instead, as I read someone else say, they are really in Honduras, please contact the FBI. and of course, refute the charges by these thieves with your credirt card company.

THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR HOTEL RESERVATIONS.
I was booking a room for a week for a worker.
First issue, Call Rep said she "had" to set it up with 3 different reservations even though it was for consecutive days.
Second issue, when worker went to the hotel it was CLOSED!. I've been awaiting refunds for 3 weeks now.
This company rips you off.
Again I say DO NOT USE!!!

Scam, fraud or worst
We booked a room thinking it was the hotel itself. Made the reservation to stay after attending our Granddaughter's wedding. Not only did reservation counter charge us but the hotel did as well. I called them when I saw the double charge on my credit card statement. They asked me to send a copy of my statement so it could be researched. I have spoken with them at least 8 times and they say it is either under dispute or they are working on it. On Sept 22, received an email stating the amount of $156 would be credited. We are still waiting. The matter has been going on for 4 months and still not resolved. DO NOT USE RESERVATION COUNTER!!! Interesting that our credit card received fraudulent charges recently and the account had to be closed. At our wit's end.

this is a scam.
I was looking to book a room in Lafayette Indiana at the Drury Hotel. I clicked on what I thought was the Drury Hotel website and booked a room. The website had a picture of the correct hotel on it. I thought the price was too high but booked it anyway. After printing the receipt, I noticed it was Reservation counter. I immediately went back and cancelled my reservation. I sent an email back to the website demanding a refund and accused them of fraud. I also contacted my credit card company to see if they could stop the transaction. The charges were forty dollars higher than booking directly on the hotel website. I don't see how the hotels can allow this to happen. I will be contacting the hotel as well to see if they can help with this fraud. don't use this company. They are out to rip you off!!!!
