TOTAL BS

This website was such a scam. DO NOT USE. Charges an extra 15 for no reason and a weird "tax and fee" charge that doesn't mean anything and makes the total cost way more than what originally would have been. Purchased last night and when I got the confirmation email that was the first time I learned of both charges. Tried to call and cancel this morning. WE WERE SUCCESSFUL only because my friend and I called several times, got the manager's name of the hotel, got approval for cancellation OURSELVES, and then gave that information to reservations.com. DO NOT believe if they say they cannot reach the hotel. THEY ARE FULL OF IT They said they could not reach the hotel several times but every time we called they picked up immediately. Finally got a refund that they said would come in "ten to fifteen" business days. Did not receive a confirmation email so called the hotel who were super nice to confirm so we did not get charged for being a "no show". Calling back now to see if we can get an actual confirmation email. Reported them to my bank (bank of America) as fraud. Bank of America is going to help us refund even the $15. Also going to report to the better business bureau. DO NOT give up. They are a pain in the butt but you can win! And also report them in the process!
