Dishonest business practices
Romney Pest Control Is the most Shadiest Business I have ever encountered in all my Life. Their sales kid came knocking at my door last summer after harnessing my kids, he looked like a Pervert. I think he told me his name was Greg or Craig. (Please be aware of this guy) Anyways, This Company has the most disrespectful customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. After calling them for issues which they promised the would get rid of.( which they were not able to do of course.) I had wasps and spiders on the outside of my home, these IDIOTS weren't even able to get rid of them after 4 retreats in 2 months. And when I called them to complain about this problem which I am paying $426 a year for them to get rid of, their stupid secretary gives me the worst attitude, and then hangs up on me. I was appalled by her blatant DISRESPECT for a CUSTOMER. Who is paying her damn bills. For any of you considering A pest control company, please DO NOT USE ROMNEY PEST CONTROL. Unless you want to pay more, get treated like shit, and be lied to by their sales reps.

Oh yeah and they cut up my grass like sod and stuck it on top of my roof. Wait, not even my roof...MY NEIGHBOR'S ROOF!!! They literally stole my half acre lawn and gave it to my neighbors. Now I have to go talk to my neighbor I don't even like just to get my yard back. And the most worstest part is, they left all the weeds and literally pulled up the grass so carefully they didn't even bother to remove my weeds from my lawn too. ABSURD!!! DO NOT USE ROMNEY PEST CONTROL!

Rove Pest is DISHONEST
I contracted with Rove Pest control (Minneapolis, St. Paul MN area) in 2010 to kill the small black ants that were taking over my lawn and landscape. For two seasons they came out every month (and more as I had to keep calling them back) to exterminate the ants. That's all I wanted done, and after two years they made no progress. The ants were never gone or even reduced in number. Nearly $100 a month for two full seasons and they accomplished nothing. My calls of complaint were always greeted with sorry excuses. I found a product online (called DeltaGard) and in the spring of 2012, as the ants were still there, in full force, I applied the DeltaGard - and I am not endorsing a product here - for a about 6 weeks. One 20lb bag and the ants were gone. Gone, period, for about $30. Rove is a ripoff, they did nothing to solve the problem for two years, and at considerable expense to me. To add insult to injury, when I informed them several times (via phone and email) that I did not want their service any longer, they refused to listen to me and insisted that I did not properly 'notify' them. They kept sending me bills for service (that they did not perform) and when I refused to pay they sent a collection agency after me. Do yourself a favor and find and EFFECTIVE and HONEST company to deal with. Rove Pest Control is a dishonest and despicable company to deal with. Search the web and you will find others whom this company has ripped off as well.
