THIS IS JUST UNFAIR...HOW CAN A COMPANY TAKE MONEY FROM A ACCOUNT & YOU DIDNT SAY THAY COULD. THE WEB KEPT WITH THERE POPUPS SO I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD DEAL...I TRIED TO ERRACE EVERYTHING FROM THE ORDER I DECIDED NOT TO GET & THAY HAD ALREADY WITH IN FIVE MINS. TAKEN MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT. THAY NOT ONLY TOOK THAT MONEY THYA TOOK ANOTHER $93.00 THEN TOOK $99.95...I SEND EVERYTHING & ANYTHING THAY HAD SENT TO ME BACK TELLING THEM I DIDNT WANT ANYTHING ELSE FROM THEM & THAY WERE SCAMMERS....NOW I AM TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK....DO NOT...I REPEAT DO NOT GET ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY...THAY WILL TAKE ALL YOUR MONEY & WONT CARE.....

I too purchased the free sample, only then did they send further cream, taking £89 and £95.95 out of my account, this is not set up at my bank with a direct debit but is merely manual requests for money to my account. I have managed to speak to their customer service who said that if I sent the cream back they would refund me £70 but no more, I have returned the cream and received an email today saying they would refund me £60 in 5 days and deducted a further £10 from my refund for restocking. Is there nothing that can be done to stop them I am thoroughly disgusted and out of pocket !

BEWARE - do not ask for a Free Trial Sample. I also got hooked on this scam. The trial product at a cost of $4.95 and $3.95 was sent to me. When I did not cancel within 14 days they charged my credit card for $200. When I tried to call the company it took 29 minutes on hold to reach a customer service representative, when I told him I wanted to cancel my membership he hung up on me. I called the second company RTVL and was told that the "free trial" only worked if I cancelled within 14 days otherwise I would be charged $100 each. They would not give me instructions for returning the unopened product, even though the website says I can return and be charged only $20 per product. Ruth

Unfortunately I have been deceived by this company too. Out a pocket and feel so stupid for falling into their trap. And the credit card company were of no help- said they are legally covered...what about morally?! Thoroughly disgusted.

RVTL/Equinox anti-aging creams
Another customer who has gotten ripped-off by this "Sheridan Labs" outfit. Through the internet, there was quite an impressive write-up on using RVTL & Equinox products together to get pretty dramatic wrinkle reducing results. Normally, I'm not taken in by such scams; however this product was endorsed by Dr. Oz, Demi Moore, Good Housekeeping Magazine and the 2013 spring edition of "New York" magazine. This product was also supposedly featured on Yahoo, in Woman's Day, Vanity Fair, Time, People, & AOL. These are people and magazines that hold a pretty good reputation and I wouldn't think they would have endorsed such a scam, but they did.
I purchased both products through there "special offer" $4.95 for the RVTL and $3.97 for the Equinox. The advertisement said that they come with 100% satisfaction guarantee or full money back if not completely satisfied. Well, I haven't seen any results, my account has been charged astronomical money, I can't get ahold of anyone to complain or try and get my money back and this so-called company has sent me more of this "crap" which I didn't open and put back in my mailbox with a note to the mail carrier to "return to sender". This infuriates me that supposedly reputable people and magazines endorse such stuff. Will be cancelling my bank card. Help!!!

Deducted monies from my Bank without authority
I ordered free sample of Anti Ageing Cream-£2.99 for post and packing. Received goods money deducted from my Bank, not a problem. On receipt of goods no paperwork enclosed with address details or contact number. Had further £89.00 deducted from my Bank, so had to ring fraud dept to stop any further payments plus to get a contact number. Spoke to a Paul Conner who said that I hadn't cancelled in the allocated time of 2 weeks, yet looking on web site now it says 4 weeks cancellation period!! BUT-how could I cancel if I couldn't contact you at all? I requested my £89 back to no avail, as I had the goods-I offerred to return the product but did not want it returned! This monwy was taken from my account without my authority, and I think your customer relationship is disgusting. Please return the £89.00- my Bank has cancelled any further payments to you. I believe detailing my experience with this fraudulent company would be redundant. I fell for the ads and truly thought they may have had a great product. I NEVER received my product and they claimed to not have my order. I was able to get my money back due to having a good bank. I just have to watch my account to be sure they don't charge me anymore. If they do, my bank wants me to notify them and change my account number.

I like so many other was sucked into their scam. I called this morning to cancel the $93 charge and we will see what happens. I talked to my bank since this charge was still in pending and they put a hold on it so hopefully I won't be out the money. They said I would receive a confirmation of cancellation but time will tell. Free or $4.95 is not free it comes with strings attached. I'll be more careful in the future.

I too sent of for this trial sample and paid the postage costs. I tried to cancel using the email address [email protected] I received a failure notification "the error that the other server returned was 550 sorry, no mailbox here by that name" needless to say I then became concerned so I rang the UK number 0203 0145481. I spoke to a very rude man who could speak little English and refused to put me through to any supervision. I asked where my call had been transferred to as I believed the number was West Lothian, Scotland. He said you are calling West Lothian and that is where I am, so I asked where that was and he said he didn't know! Quite clearly this call had been transferred overseas!
Alarm bells are now ringing but he assures me account is cancelled! Today I have received a bank statement showing £89 has been taken from my account! I called the number again and the same farcical rubbish continued. I was told they would credit my account with £44.50 and I had to return the sample to P O Box 13511 Linlithgow, West Lothian EH49 7YH. I have received a cancellation number and a refund number but I don't anticipate getting the refund.
Obviously I will return this and await my refund but am now worried that they will try and take more funds from my account.
I am absolutely furious that I stupidly got myself into this! These people are disgusting.

I also was fooled into this scam,,i recieved the product today to my suprise as i thought i would have took much longer.. to my horror i then came across this site and freaked out,, got straight on the phone to my bank and have cancelled my debit card. No money had been taken so far but only matter of time by sounds of things.. can anyone tell me if when card is cancelled can they still take money? Bank said no if it was only my long card num i gave but i cant even rem now if it was only that i entered or it was account and sort code.Really panicking,,,this is just AWFUL!!! Sorry for those of you that have already lost money.

I ordered this product to see if they could scam me even if I followed their instructions to the letter - and they did. I sent an email cancelling my enrollment within the 14 day period as instructed. Since then I have received two more orders. Today I called "customer service" and was told that they have no record of my email and that I should have waited for a "confirmation email" from them, acknowledging the cancellation, even though there was no mention of a "cancellation email" in their instructions. Oh, and the supervisor was in a meeting and couldn't speak with me. Shame on you Phoenix Labs and Sheridan Labs for your sneaky marketing tactics and your lies. Your product is nothing special so you have to trick consumers into buying it. Bad, bad karma for you! If you operated from a real store, we would all chip in and hire someone to break your legs.

This is a scam. They say you will get a free sample of their skin care for minimum shipping cost and then they charge your credit card $93.00 two times. I am calling my credit card company. What a rip. I refuse to pay this. They need to be charged with theft.
No invoice/ no product/ The product is no good and they need to be stopped.

I would like to advise anyone out there that if they have ordered a trial product from this company - cancel immediately! you are already subscribed then ensure that you contact these idiots to cancel otherwise you will be paying £200 per month! Whilst I was on the call to them I demanded that they send an email confirming that they had cancelled my 'subscription.' I have also reported them to the policy on-line fraud team and made my American Express credit card aware of the situation. I will cancel my card also.

Just the same story, agreed to the free sample on a freebies website, received RVTL cream and Equinox serum, then realised that £89 and £95 had been taken from my account without my consent. Had put in my card details to pay £4 p and p only. Feel sick, furious and stupid. Am already on a Trust Deed for debts, just wanted a wee free sample, can't believe I fell for this. Have written emails and been told my " subscription" is cancelled, but don't know whether to cancel my card. Bank are investigating. Is it worth reporting to the police? I feel sick these companies are getting away with this. Will write to the papers to warn as many peeps as I can.

I paid $4.95 for trial size of RVTL. I never received the product and tried to contact the company at a phone number 1-877-316-1865 I got off the website, all I got after calling several time was a recording telling me they would be with me momentarily but, no one ever answered the call. On one of my attempts to contact this company, I hailed on the phone line for almost an hour to no avail! After contacting my bank and getting a print out of my account they had charged me $93.00 for a product I didn't received. On the print out at the bank there was a different phone number so, I called it. I was told to contact the local post office with a tracking number they had given me to find out what form of delivery was made with the product. The post office gave me a letter where the shipper request waiver of a signature when delivered. Therefore the product weighing only 7ounces was placed in my mail box on the side of the road where anyone could take it and walk away! You would think a product that cost almost $100.00 and so small would require a signature!!! This company is very unprofessional and CHEAP. They should have protected their customers by requiring a signature. C. Jones

I feel so bad for all of you, and thank goodness I looked up reviews before ordering. However, I can't believe something can't be done. This would be a story for a reporter, so maybe 20/20? How about an attorney who is a decent person who would take these complaints? Better Business Bureau? Some sort of commission in the capitol? It is so infuriating to have people take advantage of those of us who have to work hard. What about Ellen? They are using her face, for goodness sakes.

This company has some very poor business practices that are sneaky at best. The free 30 day trial is actually charged to you after the 14 day cancellation policy that is buried so deep in the website that it is hard to see. Also they automatically charge for the next month. So how is it free. I have disputed all four charges with my card services. I also called the Equinox company and told them I was not going to pay for anything more than the free 30 day shipping that they advertised. They cancelled for me and gave me return service numbers that I need to send the product back. Equinox told me I would have to pay a 26 dollar restocking fee on the returned products. Over my dead body I told them. I closed my credit card and told them I would not pay another penny to this fradulant company. I really appreciate my credit card company for calling and warning me about these charges.

Unethical advertising
I ordered on line; they billed me $4.95 for a "trial"; then I received a charge on my credit card of over $90 and then a second shipment arrived and I was charged just under $100 on my credit card. I called; they said the additional $90 something was because I had not responded to "cancel" within 14 days. I did not open second shipment. Credit card company intervened; called them; I am sending second shipment back; hopefully they will reverse the near $100 charge.
So far jar #1 has not shown any significant improvements. I say "Buyer beware" of this product/company; they're very quick to charge you just under $100. The person at Customer Care had a very thick accent; spoke rapidly; I could barely understand him.

I also tried to order a trial , but was sent full size Equinox and RVTL. Charged me full price...Over drawn account charges ... because this account is for internet orders only, and it was not a planned purchase. Since I did not plan this purchase I DID NOT deposit to this account. Called and complained...man said that I will be getting the order cancelled and refund for PART of the O.D. CHARGES being that I did NOT UNDERSTAND that they send full size for 14 day trial and YOU HAVE TO CANCEL!
THIS IS A SCAM...will I get any refund???

Fraudulent Billing
Website gave pop-up ad for trial skin cream samples. The fee 2.95 and 4.95 was supposedly just to cover shipping and handling fees. My bank card was debited $99.00 (3 )weeks later. I called the company and customer care said that I had opened an 'account' online. I was livid, and I insisted that I definitely had no account and demanded return of my money. CC stated that the money could not be refunded. After I advised him I would file formal fraud charges, he stated that he would 'close the account" and not debit any more money. But no mention of a refund
I filed a dispute with my financial institution and the with Better Business Bureau (BBB) in their location State . We can complain in en mass and file a class action suit

Equinox and RVTL Anti Aging Fraud
I ordered the trial never received the product 14 days later they charged my credit card $65.00 twice.. They would not refund me the entire amount. Customer Service is located in a different country, they refused to let me speak to a supervisor or manager telling me they don't take calls.
