awful service with awful people
They took my car away without any explanation and they didn't explain me how I could get it back. I paid them more than two years for loan and had two more years to pay. They didn't return me my car and they took all my belongings which were really expensive.
Stay away from this company this might happen to you!

Santander Consumer USA Unfair business practice
I am very overwhelmed and frustrated with the oppressive fees and interest rates that Santander keeps piling on me. I have been paying on this car loan since April 2006. The original loan was $22,000 with 22.99% interest rate and maturity date was set for May 2012. I did take 8 deferments against the loan at $308.92 plus interest. To date I have made 61 payments totaling $19,600 and now they claim I owe $7,900. I realize that Santander charged interest and late fees for the 8 deferments I took and I want to take care of my debt but I think this is quite excessive. I spoke with Santander's Collection Manager and they don't want to consider my request to lower the interest and drop the late fees. I find this highly unreasonable at this stage of my loan and in these economic turbulant times.

non fair bill
We finished paying out the loan for the car we purchased last autumn, however, recently we have received another bill stating that we have a debt. This is not true, we paid everything we were suppose to, we kept tracking the payments ourselves, there couldn’t have been a mistake.

won't exchange the car
I am not able to trade my car, which has several problems, and which btw is suppose to be brand new (I’m still paying for it). The company said I either have to pay off all the money or settle for a much cheaper car. Bad deal!
