Fail to Give Refund
I purchased a set of Handlebar Risers for a 2011 Suzuki C50T, my wife's motorcycle. When the Risers arrived I install them but the fit was off. The Risers were making contact with the Speedometer Bezel when you turn left or right. I called the business phone but the phone message stated it would not except messages from customers. That was my first clue something might be wrong. I emailed Scootworks and addressed the message to the sales department and Dave Hockaday. When he finally responded back he instructed me to return the Risers and he would send another pair .After a few weeks I received a 2nd pair of Risers and those didn't work either. Dave suggested I move the cables around sometimes that corrects the problem . Nope I'm not a mechanic didn't want to take a chance on messing something up which I told Dave in my email. Dave stated no problem I'll refund your money. Its been over two months since this incident happen and I'm still waiting for my refund. In the beginning Dave sounded like he was concerned , but he's just B.S ing. Too bad I was a returning customer after making a previous purchase a few years ago. I thought I was dealing with a reputable company?? I done some research and apparently Scootworks and Dave have mistreated other customers also. It also appears they are going through Bankruptcy . Save your money although they may have had some good products there business in dealing with customers has gone down hill it leaves a lot to be desired . Hold onto your money there a lot of other companies out there . I found another company that had the right Risers for the Bike . I have filed complaint with the BBB and other sites to hopefully prevent other people making the same mistake I did!
