Prom Dress
Okay so I was looking for an inexpensive beautiful prom dress online and came across Seasonmall.com, at first I fell in love. They had the dress that I was looking for, at an incredibly low price! I was so excited when I came across this dress that I bought it that same day. I bought the dress for exactly $166.00 but was charged $196.00 so I decided to email the company and they told me that since I was in the USA and them in China they would charge processing fees, that seemed like a reasonable excuse so I let it go. I was pretty happy with the service and waited 2 weeks before contacting them again about the status of my order. I went to the website for my tracking number and didn't find anything so i tried to call the but the "phone number" they put on the website is a skype number and when you call it asks you to "please dial the number you are trying to reach". At that point I got pretty nervous so I emailed them again and looked on their website which states that they will email you back within 24 hours, which they failed to do so. I waited a couple of days for them to email me back and when they didn't, I tried facebbok and found that I was not the only person with this problem. I emailed them again stating that I was sick and tired of waiting around to see when it was convenient for them to contact me, and that I wanted my full refund. Almost immediately they emailed back saying that since I didn't cancel my order within three day of the purchase date, that I could only get 50% which is stated on their website, and since my dress was already processing they could not use the fabric anymore and that they would only give me 30% of my money back. How convenient that that was the only true statement on their website, I told them that on their website it stated that they would email me back in 24 hours and they failed to do so, and with broken english they stated that the reason they hadn't answer me back in 3 days was because they were in China, WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? even if they are in China they still have 24 hours in a day!!!!!!!! I was destined to get my money back but they kept saying it was against their policy and I told them that they will have to give me a full refund or I would have to contact the Best Business Bureau and a couple of days later i checked my bank account and they had given me a full refund. So to end this story if you are having the same problem just threaten them with contacting the Best Business Bureau and they will refund you :) Moral of the story DO NOT BUY FROM SEASONMALL.COM!!!!!!
