sends survey to sell ur info
Thankfully for sites like these we can all communicate about potential scams. The most important thing is to protect ourselves. And in return, if we prevent companies from making money unethically, then they will eventually stop. I must admit I was thinking about turning the survey in. I am always the one to tell me girlfriend what emails and websites are scams but this one eluded me. The large brown envelope with "DO NOT BEND", the black ink image of the state all seemed legit. Inside was a 'File No.' and I thought that was a good thing. I did wonder that only "Laura David Consumer Research Center'" was the return address. I think ultimately why I was considering sending it in is: surveys are fun. We like speaking our opinion and I was going to do it with my family's help. I will still fill out this survey, but do it for fun before throwing it away.

sends survey to sell ur info
OK I'm not sure what everyone else is getting but this is the 2ND survey from Shoppers Voice I've received in the last couple of years. Even then I looked the company up and decided to fill it out and send it in. Much to my happiness I've gotten a ton of useful coupons and offers since. This time around there's a cover sheet in the envelope which reads "Please serve as an Official Missouri Participant..." with a stamp in the shape of the state and all. yes its a bit corny. But so are PCH and all the rest. The return envelope "ATTENTION MAILROOM..." again all to entice you and give that warm fuzzy feeling that you are super special! Yes the special file # is there and everything that one would want to see...INCLUDING the fact that they will sell your information!!! " THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE IN THIS SURVEY MAY BE SHARED WITH REPUTABLE COMPANIES AND ORGANIZATIONS FOR MARKETING AND RESEARCH USE ONLY. ONE TYPE OF MARKETING USE IS TO PROVIDE VALUABLE PRODUCTS AND SAMPLES, COUPONS, INFORMATION AND SERVICES THAT MAY BE OF INTEREST TO YOU. IF YOU CHOSE TO PARTICIPATE, YOU..." OK so it doesn't say "sell" but for those who have their eyes open, we know what is implied. So, I decided the first time to give my email address, LORDY!!! that was a mistake, after countless attempts I finally reclaimed my inbox WOOHOO!! but the flood to my snail-mail box was only useful stuff!!! (email is cheap...snail-mail is costly) This time around they won't be getting any email information but I'm going to update areas of the survey that apply and send it in. I don't expect to win a dime, and if I do I'll definitely take care on how i go about cashing it (I've seen the fakes or cashing this means you owe us money many times) Not to mention there is no info that you must answer except your address which they have already. I see they want to know if I like tv dinners...hmmm I'll only answer yes to that send it in and oh boy I can see my deep freezer now ;) banquets a coming ;) My overall point? while this company is definitely making money on you, they're not trying to steal your identity or rob your bank account. cuz baby my bank is phat and Ive never been hit
